The room was spacious, ok for one night. We had one bottle of water and electric kettle, which was a plus. We liked that we could leave the luggages at the reception before checkin. For a short stay is fine, but not ideal for a longer one.

Good and affordable option close the the Beauvais airport, around 10-15 mins away from this airport by taxi. Clean rooms, comfy beds. The breakfast was rather basic but all was fresh and fine. The lady working at the breakfast was just lovely!

VeryGreat location, close to train station and airport
Beauvais is a small town located 80 km north of Paris, in the French region of Picardy. Though its ancient origins and quaint atmosphere, the city has only recently become popular due to its airport. The Paris Beauvais-Tillé Airport is the gateway to Paris for most low-cost carriers, which makes the hotels in town a popular choice for travellers.
The city was inhabited by Gallic tribes, and it was known as Caesaromagus by the Romans. After being destroyed by barbarian attacks, it became the capital of the Belgic tribe of the Bellovaci, and started to being known as Bellovacus. During the next centuries a powerful Catholic clergy emerged, and a fine textile industry was developed.
St Peter’s Cathedral and the National Tapestry Gallery are a must. The 16th-century Episcopal Palace was partly built using ancient Gallic-Roman fortifications. Canada Lake is outside the centre, and offers natural surroundings and water sports facilities.
Whether you’re searching for a cheap lodge on your way to or from Paris, or want a modern hotel in Beauvais to explore this part of France, Booking.com offers a wide range of accommodation in the area.

The cathedral is so interesting.
The cathedral is so interesting. Read about its history before going, as it was never completed. But it's magnificent, and the astronomical clock is a mechanical marvel, working only with a genius system of weights. There is a presentation for a small fee, which highlights the clock's history and designer. There are too many features on this clock to mention here. Wikipedia offers lots of info. Dedicated engineers are keeping this cathedral standing. I was a bit worried to see all the huge interior wooden supports and construction. But this cathedral is. must-see! The town itself is charming.

If you are motoring throug France and have to pick someone up wo flies into Paris,, Beauvais is probably the best option.
There is a nearby restaurant (at the airport) - food is okay, prices quite high (as is common practice for airport restaurants).

The property was centrally located, spacious and very clean.
The property was centrally located, spacious and very clean. Lovely bathroom and well equipped kitchen. However I found the rooms quite empty, lacking furniture, small beds (twin room) with just a thin duvet and uncomfortable pillows. Mattress was not comfortable either (it felt old). The property didn't have any more bedding at all.., which I found odd. No blankets, extra duvets, or additional pillows.. We had to put our own coats on top of the duvets to be warm the first night. The property got warmer on the second night, but still more bedding and pillows should be provided. I requested it but the property responded they didn't have any to bring to us.

We hadn't considered taking any time in Beauvais, we were just passing through to the airport but then we discovered the medieval city and it's extraordinary cathedral - it was closed in the the brief time we were there but I'd really like to have had the opportunity to look around

Very cute little town, we've flown out of the airport many times but never took the time to explore the city before. It was quite lovely! We still didn't have a lot of time, but we spent the day wandering around and enjoying all the sights and architecture (the Hotel de Ville and the enormous cathedral were obvious highlights), and we had a very nice dinner on the main plaza. It's an extremely walkable town and I highly recommend travellers give it a chance, especially if they will be flying out of or into Beauvais airport (which, no joke, is possibly the worst airport in the world -- but worth it for the insanely cheap flights all over Europe :))

Small town, everything was within walking distance (2 miles or thereabouts) of where I stayed. Traffic wasn’t an issue, and it didn’t feel ‘touristy’ at all. Plenty of services, restaurants, boulangeries, etc. The cathedral, though there is a lot of work being done inside and out, is stunning and worth a visit. I came across the municipal cemetery too, and had a walk through. The tombs and memorials are impressive, its very well kept, and there is a large area for the French war dead of both World Wars. If cemeteries are your thing, it’s a really interesting one.
If you plan on visiting Paris from Beauvais, which I was hoping to do, it takes from 1 3/4 hours to nearly 3 to get there from Beauvais, so plan an all day visit and early start!

Very ideal location if you have to take a flight in the morning at the airport of Paris-Beauvais. They even have a microwave, so you can eat warm; and it is just in front of a giant Auchan hypermarket that closes at 21:00. It costs only 1 euro by bus to go at the airport. And staff were super friendly +++ :) We will definitely come back again :)
The hotel is directly opposite beauvais station and two minutes from the bus to the airport. Despite being so close to the station, it was really quiet. My room had a bath and this was a bonus after a long day travelling. The breakfast included a hot choice as well as the usual cold selection. It was easy to walk into the town centre.
