Dinan is beautiful and we are sorry that we were only staying for 1 night as part of an organised event. We ate at La Terrasse by the old bridge on the river. The food and staff were excellent. We were able to walk from and to our apartment through the old town without problem. Just be aware that it is steep walking back up from the river to the pedestrianised area of the newer town.

Cafe culture, beautiful views, charming and vibrant town sq with weekly market. Tranquil. Too much to see in one day. Take a two hour electric hire boat with a picnic down the river. Eat Moules until you can't move and relax.

Charming place, especially the port.
Charming place, especially the port. No boats - while we were there -to St Malo because of the tides, as the river is tidal up to Dinan. The older part is almost traffic free. Fascinating shops, deli's, market on Thursday.

Loved Dinan, its so pretty , every street is pleasing to walk along, and has lots of attractions around the area. Plenty of great places to eat and drink or sit outside the cafe's and watch the world go by. St Malo is a 'must' to see, very similar to Dinan.

We only spent a day in Dinan as we were on our way home at the end of our holiday. Dinan is beautiful and worthy of a longer stay. We will definitely go back and spend more time there and in the area.

We only stayed two nights and didn't get a chance to fully explore but we liked what we saw. The apartment is in the Port area. It is really well equipped and the host was friendly and informative. A short walk away (but up a steep hill - so you deserve your first beer) is the medieval pedestrianized area of the town which has many bars and restaurants.
We plan to return another time.
We stayed in the apartment which is down the street from the hotel. We overpacked so it was a bit cumbersome for us to drag all of our bags down there, along with no lift (our own fault- just be aware if you do the same as us). Room was large and had a nice small kitchen with electric tea kettle for us to have coffee in our room (not provided). We chose to have breakfast at the main hotel area and it was just okay - very crowded and minimal offering. Over all though this is an amazing property that has very kind and helpful staff.
Very elegant property set in a private position. Samantha met us at the gate and was the most convivial host, as was her partner Phillipe. Very nice bedroom and the house was beautifully furnished. Samantha had pre booked us a restaurant in Dinan, The Cantorbery, which I can highly recommend. Lovely breakfast in the morning too.
If I’m in the area again I’d definitely return to this hotel.
LOVED LOVED LOVED ALL OF IT. The location was amazing. On the River Rance, close to a Boulangerie, near a cafe/bar. Easy walk up to the town of Dinan. Wonderful walks along the Rance to the Port of Dinan. House manager, Kim, was exceptional. Richard, groundskeeper and general handyman was the BEST!!!!! Thank you for having them on staff!!!!!
A lovely little hotel just outside the Porte de St Malo in Dinan. Great continental breakfast and lovely staff. Very comfortable. We had a room next to a cobbled street which could get noisy during the day, so I'd recommend spending a bit more and getting a room overlooking the lovely little courtyard(s). We'd certainly go again.
A very comfortable stay in the very centre of Dinan. A surprisingly quiet location in an enclosed garden. Very well designed apartment with all the necessary mod cons. The host Natacha is very helpful, kindly helped us book some nice restaurants in town and made us very welcome. Beautiful stay, thank you!
Would like to have stayed longer in such a lovely space. Very well situated for exploring Dinan old town and port. Comfortable bed with good sized shower and shower room, and nice little kitchen area with fridge for preparing a bit of food. Lots of thoughtful detail and attractive furnishings.
We arrived at the the hotel on bikes as we were doing a cycle tour of Brittany. The Guy at reception was very friendly and helped us the park the four bikes securely in the garden. Hotel is very nice and only a short walk to the centre of Dinan. What a lovely place.
A beautiful medieval house that is very nicely furnished and very well equipped. It’s in a very picturesque street close to the port of Dinan. The whole town is beautiful and the people very friendly. And Kim was a very responsive and helpful host.
everything is just perfect about this hotel- fantastic location, beautifully preserved house with all very modern and comfortable amenities, super clean and very nice and friendly manager. excellent breakfast.
I wish we stayed more than one night.
Wonderful location, within the old town of Dinan. Extremely charming property as was the host, Ghislain. The hotel was a mixture of the historic (16th century) and the practical with all the modern conveniences. Breakfast was excellent and fun.
Amazing authentic place located in the most beautiful street of Dinan. I recommend to stay here if you want to travel in time. The hosts are very kind and the breakfast was excellent. You can park your car on the port for free (10 min walk)

Nice location. Comfortable room. Enjoyed the pool. Free parking is appreciated. A few good places to eat nearby. Good hike to Dinan which is fun, but better to stay at the port below.
The flat was airy and warm. Quiet block of flats. Nice view .Everything to make your stay comfortable. Great location, 10 mns walk into Dinan town centre and free road parking.
