The room was large and clean, the weather was cool and the room was just a little on the warm side as it was in the eves. I'm a bit fussy regarding pillows and could have done with a feather one rather than foam. As the fete des Rampart was on the hotel was very expensive and therefore hard to judge as for this price we could have had a 5 star. The staff were very helpful and helped make the visit pleasant.

Dinan is beautiful and we are sorry that we were only staying for 1 night as part of an organised event. We ate at La Terrasse by the old bridge on the river. The food and staff were excellent. We were able to walk from and to our apartment through the old town without problem. Just be aware that it is steep walking back up from the river to the pedestrianised area of the newer town.

Cafe culture, beautiful views, charming and vibrant town sq with weekly market. Tranquil. Too much to see in one day. Take a two hour electric hire boat with a picnic down the river. Eat Moules until you can't move and relax.

Charming place, especially the port.
Charming place, especially the port. No boats - while we were there -to St Malo because of the tides, as the river is tidal up to Dinan. The older part is almost traffic free. Fascinating shops, deli's, market on Thursday.

Loved Dinan, its so pretty , every street is pleasing to walk along, and has lots of attractions around the area. Plenty of great places to eat and drink or sit outside the cafe's and watch the world go by. St Malo is a 'must' to see, very similar to Dinan.

We only spent a day in Dinan as we were on our way home at the end of our holiday. Dinan is beautiful and worthy of a longer stay. We will definitely go back and spend more time there and in the area.

We only stayed two nights and didn't get a chance to fully explore but we liked what we saw. The apartment is in the Port area. It is really well equipped and the host was friendly and informative. A short walk away (but up a steep hill - so you deserve your first beer) is the medieval pedestrianized area of the town which has many bars and restaurants.
We plan to return another time.
We love visiting this comfortable hotel, which is beautifully situated on the banks of the river in the port of Dinan. Just a few (very uphill) minutes’ walk to the town and with plenty of bars and restaurants within a short stroll, the location is just perfect. The staff are super friendly and helpful and the free parking is a real bonus. The breakfast is generous and tasty - especially the croissants filled with raspberry and pistachio!
Quiet, with airy rooms, comfy beds, squeaky clean, modern bathrooms, this hotel is a real favourite.
The location of the hotel is fantastic, right in the heart of the town a few steps from all the streets of half timbered houses, with parking opposite. The welcome from Christophe was incredible, what a charming and friendly guy. We ate one evening at the restaurant and had a great meal and lovely wine recommendation. Room was simple, really clean and great value for money. Would definitely stay here again.
a spacious comfortable lovely 1 bedroom very well situated in Dinan. apartment is steps away from the tourist information office. walk to the rampart, port of Dinan and river Rance and all the good restaurants nearby. good not only for visiting Dinan and a good base to visit nearby towns. we walked 6-7 minutes to the bus stop to visit St MALO.
A very comfortable stay in the very centre of Dinan. A surprisingly quiet location in an enclosed garden. Very well designed apartment with all the necessary mod cons. The host Natacha is very helpful, kindly helped us book some nice restaurants in town and made us very welcome. Beautiful stay, thank you!
Well located hotel with a carpark. Staff were attentive and friendly. The room was small but well organised and our room also had a private balcony which gave us a lot more space.
Everything was very clean.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and wouldn't hesitate to stay here again if we are in Dinan.
The location was awesome. We've stayed in many hotels in Dinan over the past few years, Escapade a Dinan was by far the best accommodation we've ever stayed in. The host was incredible, she went above and beyond to accommodate us we'll never stay anywhere else in Dinan. Highly recommend Thank you
La Maison Pavie is a beautiful old building in the heart of Dinan’s historical center. The room we had overlooked the square and the church. Breakfast was excellent, with guests seated around a large table. Sophie, the owner, could not been more helpful. Thanks Sophie.
The staff were very accommodating, especially the man who checked us in who was excellent, and the waiter at dinner, who spoke good English, was very helpful, informative and personable. The dinner was also the best food we had eaten in France for 2 weeks!
A beautiful medieval house that is very nicely furnished and very well equipped. It’s in a very picturesque street close to the port of Dinan. The whole town is beautiful and the people very friendly. And Kim was a very responsive and helpful host.
Great hotel.staff were excellent and very friendly. Rooms were a good size, bathroom was nice. Bed was very comfortable. We had a great stay. Close enough to the city center to walk, far enough away to be quiet.
We loved the location of the hotel and Dinan itself is gorgeous. Also loved the garden with spectacular view of the castle. Dinan is a wonderful city and wish we could have had longer.
A lovely hotel right in the heart of Dinan, so an excellent location. The room was rather small but the bed was comfortable and the whole space was immaculate. A very lovely shower.
Great location in the heart of Dinan. We stayed in a little apartment that was just down the street from the hotel and loved it. We had a great time and it was a perfect spot.
Clean and comfortable room with lots of character in a superb location. Had the best meal of our trip to France in the restaurant downstairs. Everything was perfect!
A very special location, and it was lovely to have the opportunity to stay in a home rather than a hotel.
Extremely spacious, clean and comfortable. Fabulous!
