This staff of the hotel made our stay very enjoyable. The breakfast was great: fresh, plentiful and reasonably priced. What we liked most was the proximity to the beach (Gruissan Plage).
Located in Gruissan, hôtel Le Grand Large offers beachfront accommodations a 2-minute walk from Plage des Chalets and provides facilities like a private beach area, a shared lounge and a bar.

Breakfast not great but location on the beach made up for it.

All staff are friendly, hard-working, very attentive and efficient, rooms are small but very clean, great location near Gruissan Plage-unique chalets, beach is 2 min walk from hotel and is very wide and long at location, very nice wood-floored bar terrace with live music on Friday nights, an excellent massage therapist with fair prices located right next door on hotel property, very good value for the price even in August when I was there, on-beach restaurant (Pache Plage) was only 5 min walk away
Set in the fishing village of Gruissan, Résidence l'Oustal des Mers is located just 656 ft from the beach and features air-conditioned apartments with a furnished terrace.
Located in Gruissan, in the heart of the vineyard of the Massif de La Clape and 1.2 mi from the sea and 8.7 mi from Narbonne, this 18th-century château features an outdoor swimming pool and a garden.

We loved the beautiful property and wine tasting. Dinner at the restaurant was beautiful, amazing food with a gorgeous view.

A place out of time, an old village of fishermen with a lot of charme. The village has a concentric plant around the ruins of an old military tower, lying between swamps for salt extraction and the sea.

We travelled with our 2 dogs through France to Southern Spain so this was a stopover for us. The location and facilities were both great. The dogs loved the garden, and we the local wine grown at the Chateaux!

We drove a little round the area. Narbonne plage was more to our liking than Gruissan, only 20 min away.
Restaurants nice. Food good.
Plenty of nice wine yards with good local products.
Few spoke English, not a problem for us but if you speak any French it can be a little challenging. But you will manage.
Primarily French people which I find refreshing when I go to see somewhere else.
Not far to old cities in the area.
You need a car if you want to see something more than just Gruissan.

Gruissan marina is an attempt to duplicate the much larger resort of Cap d'Agde a few tens of miles up coast. While in Cap d'Agde they ended up spoiling the enormous sandy beaches environment building everywhere, they leaved this part mostly intact in Gruissan, which is much more balanced and still shows large patches of how was this region's seaside 40 years before. Old Gruissan town is more looking to the salty marshes and a certainly deserve attention. The whole place has some strongly endearing feelings.

The best thing about it was the setting in the midst of the natural Park. Great for cycling and walking with easy access to beaches.
We had lovely fresh seafood where ever we went. We particularly liked the wonderful fresh seafood at Le Cambuse de Saunier

Stopped here on our way to Barcelona. The area is a go to place for the locals. Hotel is located on a boardwalk at the waterfront of a large marina with restaurants and other hotels nearby.
Great private apartment, well equiped and comfortable. Great price. Lovely ladies that came to clean the room, even gave us a lift to Narbonne. Great stay all round.
