It's a brilliant option for families and learner skiers with lots of easy slopes suitable for beginner and intermediate skiers. The village is very authetic and quaint with a reat choice of restaurants, cafes, ski hire shops and a little supermarket. We were staying in between seasons, scouting places for returning to ski in winter. Les Gets seems to be perfectly set for skiing. It is part of the much larger ski area called Portes de Soleil, with lots of lifst, trails, and varying terrain. We can't comment on the skiing yet, but we will definitely be back in Les Gets to ski as soon as we can (or as soon as the snow comes :-). Les Gets has all the infrastructure of a modern ski resort, with lost of accommodations, rental shops, ski schools, etc. And yet it feels compact, easy to walk around, safe, and overall wecoming and friendlyGuest review byKonstantinUnited States - 6.0

I like the short transfer from Geneva Airport. It’s a small Village, nice restaurants and cafés good variety of ski hire shops easy walking distance to main lifts in the village. Le Tyrol was our favourite restaurant, important to book. Les Gets is a thriving ski town in the Alps located close to Morzine. There is plenty to do and see in both the winter and the summer. It is clean, safe and friendly. There are plenty of bars, cafes and restaurants. It is easy to food shop for great French produce and cook and dine at home. Alot of new building in recent years is nearing completion. I love Les Gets we've been here many times in the winter to ski, so it was good to see it in the summer as well. Lots to do, mountain biking, road cycling, walking, trail running etc. The Creperie les Gets, just off the main road, slightly hidden, is our favourite restaurant, very friendly and good food. Much quieter here than Morzine, and you can cycle between the two towns or get the bus, if you like it to be busier, then Morzine might be a better base.Guest review byKirstyUnited Kingdom

Walking distance to the slopes but a bit out of central part of Les Gets so a bit quieter. on the way back from the town you need to go a bit uphill but we didn’t mind.
