We used the hotel as a one-night stop before travelling further south. Everything was as described and having a dog was not a problem (good sand dune walks). The small seaside town was very clean and there were decent restaurants and bars within 200 metres. There was a pleasant breakfast room. The hotel was very clean and the staff were very friendly. We visited on a Sunday evening about 7.30 so this isn’t a true reflection of what is on offer, as most of the eateries were closed or on the point of closing (normal for France out of holiday season?). The beach was wide and clean looking, with people strolling along, horses being ridden along the shoreline, and lots of kite surfers enjoying the wind - very peaceful. Good selection of eateries - pizzerias, fish restaurants, gastro pubs and bars as well as ice- cream parlours and hot snack outlets - all reasonably priced - next time we’ll plan a weekday visit!Guest review byJanUnited Kingdom
