I was a repeat guest. The hotel is extremely convenient to the main station but also close to other points of interest-- the castle, cathedral, and Jardin des Plantes-- and the vibe of the area is quite good, with lots of appealing restaurant options nearby. Rooms are spacious, well-outfitted, and comfortable.

Easygoing and green, Nantes is the gateway to the Loire Valley. On a delta between the Loire, Erdre and Sèvre rivers, this once important port is now an innovation pioneer.
A former shipyard, the Île de Nantes in the Loire now has bars, clubs and restaurants. However, its most intriguing feature is the Machines of the Isle of Nantes, a collection of weird and wonderful mechanical sculptures – you can even take a ride on the elephant.
Across the river is the moat-surrounded Chateau des Ducs de Bretagne, a fortified castle and former home of Breton Dukes. A few streets away is Nantes Cathedral, whose façade is reminiscent of the one in Reims. Place du Bouffay in the historic city center is home to many restaurants and bars, while the 19th-century shopping center Passage Pommeraye has a range of stores over 3 levels. For a taste of daily life head to Talensac market.
Other Nantes attractions are the Japanese Garden at Île de Versailles in the Erdre, the former shipowners’ houses at Île Feydeau, and the Jules Verne Museum, celebrating the city’s most famous son.
Don’t head to Nantes Airport from your Booking.com hotel, apartment or B&B without having tried the local speciality – crêpes. Delicieux!

Lovely city very easy to navigate and everyone was so friendly encouraging us to practice our French. Interesting quirky architecture, lots of choice with restaurants and bars. Quick and easy commute on shuttle bus from the airport. Well worth a visit for a long weekend or as a base to explore the Loire region

Nantes is a very walkable city with great restaurant options and plenty of popular places to visit. The castle is very reachable from the centre of the city by foot and another ideal place to visit is Trentemoult which is reachable by a 5 minute ferry ride where you can relax and look back over at Nantes, it’s the perfect picture.

Nantes is an ideal city break destination.
Nantes is an ideal city break destination. It has a lovely historic centre and also many shops and restaurants. The Bouffay district is the centre of the restaurant area and is where I enjoyed some delicious meals. The chateau of the dukes of Brittany is well worth a visit. The Isle de Machine is also well worth visiting particularly the giant mechanical elephant ride. You should familiarise yourself with the layout of central Nantes in advance as some of its street plan is quite complex though there are landmarks that can help you find your way. Much of it is flat though some parts are hilly. Much of the centre is walkable though there is a tramway running through the centre of town.

Interesting place to look around. Pity weather wasn’t warmer but we found places if interest. On the Sunday morning there was a race with at least 300 runners so we watched some if that. Also found restaurants & an Irish pub so we felt at home.

There is a great deal to see in Nantes, but on top of my list is the restaurant, La Cigale. A beautiful 19th century dining room overlooking the Place Graslin, and excellent food and service. The guided tour of the Maille Breze was fascinating, and the Musee Dobree was very well curated. It is easy to get around Nantes. I walked everywhere with the help of a map, but there is also an excellent bus and tram service.

The hotel is in mint condition. Nicely decorated and very pleasant. In addition, the welcoming experience was absolutely amazing: very polite, friendly and helpful, trying to accommodate the best possible way my needs to leave early in the morning.
The hotel is 10 minutes walking distance from Nantes station as well as the airport bus shuttle stop, making it well located.
I’ll definitely go back when visiting or passing through Nantes
This hotel is near it's 'mother' hotel La Duquesne which allowed us to check in early and has 24 hour reception access. Cycle storage was in a secure 'cage' in a nearby public car park (approx 200m from hotel) 24 hour accessible by card provided by the hotel.
The hotel is a short walk from the centre of Nantes with good restaurants nearby
Very comfortable, well-equipped apartment with fabulous views over the Loire to Nantes centre. The sofa bed was very comfortable and worked well in the alcove with a screen across. Lovely to find the host had provided milk so we could have a much needed cuppa on arrival!
Very clean room and comfortable beds. Self check-in was very easy. Location was great for town centre walk. Free parking was very important.
Young man on reception was very friendly and kind and other staff were also friendly and helpful.
A great value for money hotel.
The close proximity to The South Train Station. From there you can catch the shuttle bus to Nantes airport. The hotel was close to restuarants and other pubs.
