Paimpol is a large town compared with many of its neighbours...
Paimpol is a large town compared with many of its neighbours. There are plenty of shops and restaurants but we did not find any outstandingly good. It came to life on the Tuesday with a very large market which occupies several streets and squares in the town. The bars were full and the atmosphere was lively.

Nice little town, lots of interesting shops and restaurants, everything very close by, small independent shops and supermarkets, hardware stores garages and the like, touristy but obviously popular with locals as well.

Great place for a stopover, lots of boating activity, great quayside restaurants and a visit to nearby " Brehat " island is a must. Very accessible by car with many other lovely resorts worth visiting

I loved the garden area where there was a lovely place to sit in the sun and listen to the birds. A very convenient location close to the centre of Paimpol and the port area, shops, cafes and restaurants, beaches and nice coastal walks. 5 minutes walk from the station. The Breakfast had an exceptional choice and was fresh and appetising, with some hot items served. The Restaurant was not open on the night of our stay, but would be worth trying some time, especially for a Gourmet treat. Good car parking facilities were available in advance of check-in, and the WiFi was also complimentary. A first class choice of hotel within walking distance of the fabulous Paimpol.

Although shower box was just for me and I am thin. If u have a big frame (or ... just big;-) ) you will have to be extremely flexible to reach your feet. Excellent bed and linen. Very clean . Very good cleaning service. Receptionist are nice and helpful. You are in the heart of Paimpol

Well worth exploring the coastal walking route GR34, north & south from the town. Treguier easy bus ride (though not frequent). You can rent an e-bike from Haute Keranos hotel, about a mile out of town.
