We had a superior room booked.
The room is indeed newly renovated with a nice view over Gare de l’Est. The bathroom seemed a bit outdated and might need a rebrush. We didn’t have breakfast included.
I was positively surprised to see that NH still offers bathrobes and slippers, which is no longer a given among 4* hotels.
It’s also a nice touch to offer clients water and sweets at their discretion in the lounge.
The staff is very kind and helpful at all times.

The people at the reception were kind.
The location is perfect if you want to be in walking distance from the Eiffel Tower. The hotel is not fancy but I think for a place this close to the most famous landmark in Paris - the money are valued. Line 6 was very useful for our itinerary so that was very comfortable. This is our second time staying in this hotel so it was great to return and we enjoyed our stays both times.
There is always classical music playing in the elevator which I find a really fun addition to the atmosphere especially as the elevator is really old-styled and tight.

I love that everyone was so friendly. Paris is beautiful and the culture, architecture and history is beautiful. One big pleasure was the public transport! It was so easy to get around even though walking was our main mode of transport- no better way to see Paris! My french is still bad but much improved 🤣

Paris has a great summer vibe and plenty to do as well as just enjoying the historic centre. Be well prepared for pre-booking all attractions as the waiting lines are horrendous and stopped us from visiting some things. Also make sure things are open the days you want to go as they are often closed certain days of the week.

Paris is quaint and accessible and also expensive; fortunately, the tourist season had not begun fully so restaurants were less busy but museums were busy.
We ate at Le Souffle which had a very reasonable set menu and booked in advance. Also, re-commend booking a food tour which was insightful and tasty.
Finally, I highly recommend booking a tour guide to some of the museums e.g D'Orsay and give yourself time to browse and dine in the beautiful tea room.
Take a Seine cruise after walking around Paris and don't forget to stop of for coffee and/or vin blanc.

We had been to Paris in late September 2009.
We had been to Paris in late September 2009. It was lovely and we have great memories. Were there June 16-20 2025. The city was packed with tourists. Traffic was horrible. Add to that a heat wave and our experience was less than memorable. We will not travel to any major European cities at anytime between mid-May and mid-October ever again. Go off season and you will enjoy it so much more.

If you go to Paris, be ready for crowds that make New York look tame. We visited on a day when Paris was hosting a city-wide music festival (we had no idea) and it was honestly terrible. It was 96 degrees in the city, so sweltering hot and people packed everywhere so tightly that you couldn't move. The busses and metro were full enough that we had to wait a few times to get on because there was literally not one more inch of space for another person to stand. The sites were good, and I'm sure the museums are, too, but there was no way we could get into anything. It was a bucket list undertaking — I came, I saw, I was relieved to leave and probably won't return, or if I do it will be on a rainy Tuesday in March, rather than a Saturday in June.

The catacombs were amazing to visit, make sure you book early. A visit to Notre Dame is a must, the queue was long but moved constantly so didn't take as long as expected to get in.
If going up the Eiffel Tower, be aware the queues to get in the lift took a long time to move and there is no shade if it's sunny.

The location was excellent, with plenty of dining options nearby, ranging from budget-friendly Greek kebabs to authentic French crêperies. The hotel is well-connected by train and within walking distance of iconic landmarks like Notre Dame and the Louvre Museum. The front desk staff provided exceptional service, always offering a warm and friendly welcome whenever we entered the hotel. While the breakfast selection wasn’t extensive, it was hearty, and the croissants were truly outstanding, among the best that I’ve tasted in France.

The hotel is situated in a very good location 3 minutes from ternes metro station,Charles de Gaulle–Étoile metro station,Arc de Triomphe and Champs-Élysées. The staff was very nice and helpful with every need. The room was good, it had a large bed and a big shower. Overall I had a very good experience and felt that the price was relatively low (considering the fact that Paris is not a cheap place). When I come back to Paris I will definitely consider staying there again.

The location is perfect. The best in Paris. Across the street Buci street with many great cafes.
New renovated rooms and hotel. Elevator and good air-condition.
Room was very small with a high window facing the sky.
Breakfast was nice but expensive. Breakfast wasn't included in our price so we used it once. Rest of the time we went out to the beautiful cafes around the corner which were cheaper and wider options.
.
Very good location, near De Clichy square.
De Clichy and La Fourch metro stations are within walking distance to the hotel, with lots of supermarkets and restaurants.
The staff were specially nice and helpful.
Costing less than 70 per night, it was one of the cheapest in Paris during my visit.
