The rooms are small but very comfortable and …CLEAN (I think they change the bed every day!)
The shared bathrooms are little cubicles: there are showers and WC. It is also possible to have international breakfast if one wants to. Paris has become very crowded and expensive. You can still find reasonable places to eat, but you need to research well. Recommend finding a hotel which includes breakfast, othewise you'll be paying a lot for a cafe breakfast and then lunch and dinner.
Always cheaper to have a coffee sitting at the counter. More expensive sitting down inside and most expensive sitting down outside.

A great city for ambling around in.
A great city for ambling around in. Great food, a lovely ambience, locals generally helpful. Beautiful along by the Seine.
Found the Metro rather difficult to navigate, and it was difficult buying tickets, there were large queues and it's all automated so you need to know what to do. However, many central places are walkable.
I didn't visit sights this time as I was there for a course.

The people were helpful and kind
I went to see Notre Dame essentially and found it be breathtaking especially at Mass around 6 pm when the atmosphere was lovely and the crowds started to quieten down.

we love everything in Paris, after eight times here, and we will come back :) its a big city with lots of highlights, you need time, good shoes, big wallet, strong legs and a big smile. If not, we must propose a smaller and more modern city ;)

Paris never disappoints. The cafes, restaurants and museums. And shopping! Make sure to book tickets for museums or you will wait or not get in. Dior Gallery, Orangerie, D’Orsay, Marmotan and Rodin are my faves

For us the vibe was gone.
For us the vibe was gone. We have been in Paris at least 3 times previously, and we found a different place- much more crowded, with a much more mixed population. Smoking is still rife, the great buildings and museums remain, but railway and underground stations are too busy for easy transits.
People are helpful, shopping expensive but icons such as the Eiffel Tower make visits worthwhile.
We will be very happy to return to a quieter smoke free New Zealand.

I booked it because it was cheaper than other hotels. According to its price, it was very good. A cleaning lady came every day. The staff was very nice and cooperative. The room was small but cozy and nice. We had our own toilet, even if it was a small one. But that is understandable because of the low price. The hotel is surrounded by many options to eat, there is a Chinese restaurant right next to the hotel. And a very good bakery. All in all, it was a very good deal. I would stay here again, if I go to Paris.
Hotel was beautifully presented and in such a good location. Montmarte is definitely the place to stay in Paris. The staff were really friendly and the rooms were such good value for money compared to other hotels in Paris. Really good bars, restaurants and cafes as soon as you walk out of the hotel. We managed to walk to most of the attractions but the metro is the best and cheapest way once you get sick of walking. Will definitely be coming back here on our next visit to Paris!
Great location, clean, cheap (for city centre Paris) and nice friendly staff. If you're more interested in the location than the facilities then it's good for the non fussy traveller.
Very nice and well situated boutique hotel. Nicely done and good you get 45 mins included at the small spa. Very clean and modern. Not the cheapest but, Paris…
