Small gem in the heart of the Luberon! The owner loves his job and does it very professionally! He helped us with a lot of suggestions for visiting villages, restaurants, markets etc. Breakfast by the pool was always very good, lots of healthy and tasty choices! We also got a free upgrade. Everything was perfect, so much so that we extended our stay by two more days!

It was an excellent location to explore the villages in the area including Roussillon. Please note however, that it is not situated in any town, but in a lovely forested area near many beautiful villages.

The old property was, we think, a farmhouse. There was no a/c. 40 decrees day. Night too hot. Many door & windows wouldn't open for ventilation. Bathroom glass door panel was seriously cracked, as was panel on shower wall. Dangerous. Some elec. points old and loose. No tv. but didn't mind. Host, Christine, couldn't have been more helpful. Good breakfasts. Lovely location. Peaceful and quiet.

Rousillon is a cute little hilltop village - we had a wonderful stroll and dinner and overnight stay at La Maison des Ocres. I would recommend it for an overnight stop but not necessary for a long stop.

A few comments we read indicated some sort of weird vibe from this town, which made us second-guess our decision to visit and stay in the area. But we are so glad we didn't change our plans - we didn't feel that way at all. We loved Roussillon. The shops and the restaurants were great, most with balconies over the cliffs and very good, reasonably priced meals. Plenty to see and do in the area.

Roussillon is a beautiful little old village on a hilltop with magnificent views. There are lots of reasonably priced restaurants. There is a public car park quite near the centre which is not expensive and free on a Sunday.

Very picturesque & clean, with wonderful views of the cliffs & the surrounding area & the entire town smelled great! Terrific place for walking (if you like uphill climbs!); not so great for cars (not unexpected) but most car traffic observes safety rules. The Thursday market was full of beautiful, fresh foods as well as lots of things you'd actually like to buy! Perfect spot in Provence!

Very spacious, comfortable, well-equipped rooms. Parking was free and conveniently close. The owner went out of his way to help us with a range of things and maintained a high standard of service that was also reflected at the restaurant. The chef presented delicious meals and the service was excellent. Great swimming pool in garden setting. We loved this hotel and would highly recommend it. Although we didn't need it, it may be useful to note that our room on the ground floor was well equipped for people with disabilities.

This lovely studio apartment was located right in the old town of Roussillon. The kitchen was fully equipped and included a dishwasher as well as a washing machine. The apartment had air conditioning and a parking garage underneath. The old town was within easy walking distance with its lovely restaurants and shops. It was an easy stroll to the beautiful Ochre Trail. The owners were so friendly and accommodating and they explained everything to us. Staying here made our time in beautiful, relaxing Roussillon very comfortable.

A little corner of paradise! The host, Phillippe, met us as we arrived, instantly making us feel at home. He gave us useful information on the local area, and served delicious breakfasts by the pool. Nothing was too much trouble. The room was large, with tables both inside and outside, and doors opening onto the lovely pine forest and pool. There's a nice 20 min walk which will take you to Roussillon with it's breathtaking ochre trail. We loved our stay here - thank you very much Phillippe and Bridgette

Les Bartavelles is the perfect place to stay in Provence😊🇫🇷You’re just a few kilometers away from the most amazing cities. Quiet is unbelievable and the view from the room is jaw dropping! Feels like home and if you like a strong and warm shower, that’s what you get😁 But the most valuable point is that the couple that owns the place are LOVELY people and they host you awesomely. The breakfast is DELICIOUS with local products and, of course tasty croissants 👏🥐😍

Lou Amourie is perfectly situated just a 5 minute drive from Roussillon which attracts many tourists. So to be able to escape to this lovely, quiet B&B in the countryside is wonderful! The breakfasts are delicious and beautifully presented in the garden behind the house. Their one and only guest room is decorated with fun antiques. The owners were very gracious and took great care with the details, making sure we were comfortable (pillows, towels, etc.) in every way.

Everything is impeccable, from the service offered by Philippe and Patricia to the rooms which are amazing. From the Bastide, you can drive to all the top attractions in the region in least than 30 minutes. All the family loved la Bastide des Demoiselles and we are looking forward to comeback in our next trip in Provence. Don’t hesitate to ask for the food plate made with local products which served next to the lavender field. A real feast…

What a special treat to stay in this beautifully decorated room above the shop of the artist who owns and decorated it. She was so helpful prior to my stay and also all during the stay, with assistance parking the car in this pedestrian area, suggestions for restaurants, and a wonderful breakfast each morning. This stay was the highlight of our 3 weeks in Southern France. I will return for sure!

A very spacious and comfortable house for the 3 of us, with two bedrooms and a bathroom. Kitchen was good too, with pretty much all that you need. Also very centrally located in the village of Roussillon, with everything a short walk away, and it overlooks one of the ochre cliffs which looks stunning at sunset. I might not stay in Roussillon again, but if I had to, I would stay here.

Eric and Paola were incredible hosts! The property itself is absolutely gorgeous, even better than the pictures, and the rooms were perfect. It was our first time in the south of France and Eric/Paola were always helpful with recommendations and helped us have a 10/10 experience on our trip. If you're looking for a place to stay in this area look no further.

Beautiful home in a tiny village. The lovely decorating gave our room an upscale feel. Nice to relax by the pool with a glass of wine. Good breakfast and ample parking. Within a short drive to Roussillon which was one of our favorite places, but it would not be a walkable distance. Hosts spoke some English which was helpful.
