We visited Saint Jean d'Angely to attend a Ruby Wedding...
We visited Saint Jean d'Angely to attend a Ruby Wedding Celebration, so we only visited the town twice - for dinner. We ate at the fish restaurant and were very happy with the standard of the food and the service. On Sunday night we ate tapas in the sunshine in the square. All very good and definitely no complaints. We were never in the town during the day when shops etc would have been open.

An undiscovered treasure of France.
An undiscovered treasure of France. A Medieval town with a beautiful river and country walks close by. However, out of season very few restaurants were open and there are many empty shops and a generally run down air to the place. The bedroom and bathroom were very spacious and confortable with tea and coffee facilities. Delicious home made jams served at breakfast. House located within walking distance from the town center with plenty of restaurants and nice shops.
