A wonderful historical town, which balances its superb location with all the trappings of a popular tourist destination. With everything from Michelin restaurants to unpretentious bistros, you will eat well here. We went in November and the town was quiet and relaxing.

Superb holiday location with lots to see and do.
Superb holiday location with lots to see and do. Great restaurants. Really excellent market in the main square. Perfect location for walkers a cyclists. Easy access to surrounding areas and beaches, We particularly like Le Touquet. Great food shops, baker, butcher and fish market. Excellent supermarket with clothes washing and drying machines. St Valery is a smallish place that gets very busy in summer,...
St Valery is a smallish place that gets very busy in summer, but April was just right. There are lots of restaurants, bistros and other places to eat. We enjoyed a trip by boat along the bay, it was lovely to see the place from another angle. We were right in the main street, so everything was "at hand" and easy to get to. Lovely shops, some of them rather pricey though, but well worth a visit Parking is a bit of a head ache, there is only one free car park as you enter St Valery, but it is quite a distance, all the others are "Payant" and not cheap. However, if you are lucky you might get a parking code from your host, and that is invaluable.
