Entirely renovated in 2017, the hotel ibis Sophia Antipolis is located in the Sophia Antipolis Technology Park and 9 km from the centre of Valbonne.

The staff were wonderful! And there was also a woman at reception called Clelia who was very, very kind and helpful.

Château de la Bégude, a beautiful 17th-century manor, is situated in the heart of the Côte d’Azur in the Opio Valbonne Golf Domain.

The restaurant is terrific. It looks rather basic but in saying that, you are spaced well from other guests and the service is excellent. Food selection is not overwhelming but again, delicious and excellent.

Located just a 20 minute-drive from Cannes, this Novotel is conveniently situated in the Technopole making it equally suitable for business or leisure travellers.

The breakfast was rich and varied, typical for this type of hotel chain. The location is excellent if you're attending an event at ETSI. While it is possible to walk to ETSI from the hotel, the uphill path is quite steep. The return walk from ETSI to the hotel is significantly easier, especially if you cross the main road. The surroundings are peaceful and nestled among trees.

Boasting a bar and views of city, Demeure d'hôtes Le Rocher is a guest house set in a historic building in Valbonne, 10 km from Parfumerie Fragonard - The History Factory in Grasse.

Amazing location and great breakfast and dinner. But the real difference which made this a 10 for me were the staff. They could not have been more helpful and happy.

    Valbonne is a great, convenient authentic French village in the heart of the French Riviera. It has a vast array of diverse restaurants, a local market on Fridays in the center square, and every convenience you will need to make your trip a memorable one. If you play golf or tennis there are multiple places nearby. The sea is close by and so are the mountains. Parking is an issue so you need to be opportunistic to find a good spot.

    Valbonne is a lovely village where the main plaza and surrounding streets (all pedestrian) offer typical not elaborate but good food, a bakery, and array of boutiques. A few steps away (outside the old village) there are incredible food shops (pricy but worth it) peaceful and well maintained church, and all in all a place to bask in charm and views. Parking may be difficult and although available, within a five minutes walk. The plaza is by far a favorite, people watching and mingling with locals while enjoying a drink or a meal. The gracious service will allow long stays while sipping a rosé. Any of the four three restaurants in the plaza offers good selection, being the favorite Casa Rossa.

    City is very nice, if you are by car you can go to St Tropez, Cannes, Nice, Monaco spending. But costumer service for English speakers is hard, they don't like that you speak English and some places wont treat you well because o that.

    The small treads on the narrow winding stairs were too dangerous to use. My husband banged his head on the ceiling and doorways looking through the place. One guest could not even go up to the second floor or above. The bathrooms were minuscule (much smaller than on a cruise ship). One would not be able to move in them. The photos did NOT reflect what we discovered. The place was dark. Flood lights must have been used to photograph. We phoned the owner immediately and he was uncooperative and suggested we move to a local hotel which we immediately did.

    Picturesque ancient French Village in the hills inland from the French Riviera. Unique and very comfortable to walk around, with endless amenities in the little shops and restaurants. Everyone, without exception, was most accommodating to English speaking people.

    The old village at the heart of Valbonne is small, pretty and charming. There are some interesting local shops including a few galleries and arts and crafts. The square has several establishments with plenty of outside tables to allow for a spot of people watching. Valbonne is well placed for side trips to StPaul de Vence, Grasse, Mougins and the Cote d'Azur.

    It is a beautiful property in paradisiacal surroundings. The hotel is of timeless beauty. The staff are first class and make you feel welcome from the very first second. A wonderful place to relax or work, not only in summer but also in winter. The spa area leaves nothing to be desired. The hotel and the entire complex are very well maintained and lovingly designed. Thank you very much for this wonderful stay.

    The hosts were extremely friendly and welcoming. The property was stylish and all the furnishings and equipment were of a very high standard. The outside space was well furnished and made taking advantage of the sun an attractive option. Easy to visit many of the very pretty, local villages. We particularly liked Mougins, Biot and Valbonne.
