Great location, easy walking distance to town centre but in a quiet spot with private onsite parking. Beautifully presented, clean & comfortable and exceptional value for money. The pictures don’t do it justice. Agnes was a wonderful host, there when we needed her and we loved having a chat about her house and the local sights. We went to the Drumtochty Highland games and thoroughly enjoyed the whole day!

    Arbroath is a nice coastal town, good size for walking...

    Arbroath is a nice coastal town, good size for walking around all the main areas. Main shopping street a bit tired with lots of closed shops, but enough coffee, bars and restaurants. We used the Wetherspoons a few times which is always good value for money, and The Old Brewhouse at the harbour was a good sized hearty meal in small but nice restaurant/bar. The Signal Tower Museum is worth a visit for history on the Bell Rock Lighthouse. We walked the coastal path north, my husband walked about 11 miles to Lunan Bay, signposts were ok, but skirting around farms and small villages was long, but interesting. Montrose is also good for a visit, especially for bird watchers around the tidal basin and coastal rivers. All around is excellent area to explore and walk, we had good dry weather which is always a bonus.

    the apartment was gorgeous and so was the view from the terrace. The walks were also gorgeous overlooking the beach. Arbroath itself was a bit run down and not a lot of shops but lovely views across the water and at the harbour . Fish and chips at the harbour was amazing . Pleasure land and jumping joeys fantastic for the kids.

    People are so friendly.

    People are so friendly. Love the quaintness of the area. 2 beaches on your doorstep. Loafs for kids to do. Cinema, playparks and lots of lovely walks. Kettle Pond worth a visit. Loads of charity shops, Cafe Seven does brilliant breakfasts.
