Great looking Manor House, however the best part was definitely everyone who looked after guests. They’ll make a shabby student hostel feel like a five star hotel

The Bike shed was in a lovely area, it had more than everything we needed and was really quirky. I couldn't fault any part of it. Emma went above and beyond to make it homey and provided plenty of information about the surrounding area and some really tasty provisions.

Ideal location for the wedding we were attending.
Plenty of space for us all, 2 adults and 2 teenagers, more space for available too for larger families, or a group of friends.
Master bedroom spacious lots of storage space, with en-suite bathroom including a toilet and shower which was great for us.
Everything we needed was there and easily accessed.
Our host was excellent, checked to make sure everything was going well, and also thanked us for leaving the place very tidy.

Good location to visit sites in the area. Easy walk into town centre. Good breakfast menu. Well cooked. Good service. Comfortable bed and spacious bathroom. Interesting style of decor - French shabby chic. Room serviced daily during our stay. Good tea/coffee and use of a fridge.

The Chilterns turned out to be a lovely area for a Spring stay, especially if you like woodlands, walking and wild flowers. There were countless good places to eat – we chose The Oak in Aston Clinton, where the food was super, and a takeaway Chinese meal from China Water, which was exceptionally good and not at all expensive. There was plenty to do for non-wakers as well – the museum in Aylesbury is very interesting, for example.

Aylesbury has a lot to offer with a good town centre and outdoor market stalls.
There is a well laid out theatre and the cinema, they are both in walking distance from the centre.
Aylesbury is clean. It is mainly a flat city so it's a good place to walk.
There's a great selection of schools fir all ages..they have great scores from the education department.
The worse thing is the number of roundabouts but it helps with road safety looking at the statistics.

What a beautiful place.
What a beautiful place. So much going on with the theatre, markets, shops, bars, restaurants. The place was buzzing with an incredible ambiance for arts and culture.
It has a diverse community and the locals are so friendly. The David Bowie statue didn’t disappoint. I cannot wait to return for a weekend.

I was brought up in Aylesbury but have not lived there for about 30 years. The place has expanded considerably and every person we spoke to - 6 companies - all said that it had expanded too fast and badly lacked amenities... Doctors/Dentists/ Schools etc
3 groups said that whilst housing was a bit cheaper than London, many workers used Aylesbury as a commuter dormitory.
Personally I cannot comment as I am not there long enough

Room was lovely and would recommend as an overnight stay.
Room was lovely and would recommend as an overnight stay. Would not recommend to eat or drink here. Food poor, quite cold and definitely no atmosphere. We were a party of 6 for evening meal - no one else eating. And only 4 others in the bar this was a Saturday night in town centre on the last weekend in November with Christmas round the corner! Says it all really!!

Nice to see another U.K. market town.
Nice to see another U.K. market town. Older buildings around the church. Forget the eatery chains, visit the Nags Head which has a good selection of ales and reasonably priced food in pleasant surroundings.
Perfect location for the theatre in Aylesbury and Waddesdon Manor. The room was beautifully decorated, with good quality bedding, and supplied with everything you needed. Toiletries of good quality, bathroom and shower excellent, loved having a fridge with fresh milk. Our room was very quiet. Little noise from a very busy road. Staff were very approachable and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. Lovely stay.
What an absolute gem of a hotel. It is a very sweet place and the gardens are a little bit of heaven,
a real place of relaxation. Rooms are very clean and of the era for this hotel and had everything you needed.
Being a small family business the service was exceptional and they really looked after you. If I am in the area
again I would definitely stay here instead of a corporate soulless hotel.
Such elegance, beauty and history! We wish we could’ve spent more than three days at the extraordinary Hartwell House. The entire staff is incredible, but a special shout out goes to John, Ethan and Matthew.
Dinner was delicious and perfectly proportioned, the massage and pool area are of the highest quality, our room in the main house was spacious, and the grounds are heavenly.
We were in Aylesbury for a wedding and the hotel was really close to the venue and very good value for money. the staff were really friendly and accommodating, even booking us a taxi to the wedding after we had arrived. the room was spacious, airy and had all the facilities we needed for our stay. the area is lovely and it was very quiet as well. would definitely stay again.
I was very pleased with my stay at Aylesbury, the room felt cozy and the bed was very comfortable. Although I had to share the bathroom, the place felt so much like a home that I felt relaxed and comfortable with that. I highly recommend it for those who prefer something more personal than the experience of a hotel chain.
Best thing about this property are the hosts. Very lovely and accommodating, making you feel comfortable and at home. The 10 min walk to the center along the water canal was a major plus also. There is a Tesco nearby open 24h from Monday to Saturday. I will definitely not look for anything else when I travel to Aylesbury.
Emma is clearly just starting out with this venture, I may have been one of the very first to stay in this accommodation, everything was very new. I think what she is trying to achieve is great. I enjoyed a good nights sleep and will likely visit again, it was nice to have the option of self catering. thank you Emma.
Great hosts. Great place to stay. Ample parking. Loved the extra touches such as fresh milk for the room, for tea/coffee, and some fresh fruit.
Will be my first choice to stay in the area when I next need to.
Fantastic location with the town centre within easy walking distance. The dining area was well stocked with plenty of choice at breakfast. Hotel clean and well maintained.
The hotel felt very welcoming, the outdoor seating area was really nice and inviting. We ended up having breakfast and was pleasantly surprised at what was on offer.
Great looking Manor House, however the best part was definitely everyone who looked after guests. They’ll make a shabby student hostel feel like a five star hotel
Landlady very hands on, room and building well furnished and clean, and in general was a very pleasant place to stay for the week. Really close to town centre.
