Staff are exceptional. Shout out particularly to James who moved our cheeseboard to our room to enjoy later that evening (other hotels would have cleared it away), recommended great wines & generally made our stay lovely-as did all the team. It is a super dog friendly hotel too. Final point-restaurant food is excellent. I rarely compliment a risotto and did so here!

Room was spacious and the bathroom was even more spacious. The shower was good and the water hot. Recommend room 11, but it is on the second floor and no lift.

Excellent place to stay in very tranquil surroundings. The hosts made us very welcome with tea and cakes on our arrival. Room was excellent and the enclosed grounds a lovely place to walk the dog. Fantastic full Scottish breakfast.
