Lesley welcomed us with a great smile on her beautiful farm ! The place is a little remote, as a result the night is calm and ver comfy. In the morning, you can enjoy a full scottish breakfast on the terrace and do a little walk around the property. A great experience, thank you Lesley !

Helpful locals.
Clean and tidy streets.
Pubs, cafe’s and shops doing a great trade.
Many outdoor facilities to choose from.
Shopping outlet by Loch Lomond a brilliant place to visit. The wee eaterie by Pavers Shoe shop is great for food, drinks, people watching, views and a good venue for men, when the ladies go shopping 😄.
This wee toon was rammed with walkers and “Kilties” ( people assisting the walkers and doing a great job of traffic management etc. keeping pedestrians and drivers safe , throughout the whole w/e ).
Outstanding wee toon.

Beautiful scenery on the walks to Loch Lomond shores, if you can get on the boat tour then I would definitely recommend, so tranquil. The Tullie Inn is directly next to the train station and across the road is the boat trips booking office. We’ve stayed here a few times. Pleasant staff, cosy, comfortable and clean spacious rooms.

We have stayed there before. Like where it sits on the Loch.
We have stayed there before. Like where it sits on the Loch. Easy access to parking. Staff are all very friendly and helpful. Food good and great variety. The only downside is there is no sitting area away from the restaurant at night. Could do with a little bar to have a quiet drink before going to bed. You can easily access anywhere else in the Balloch area.

Didn't spend a huge amount of time in Balloch bit did a Loch Cruise with Sweeneys which was very pleasant. Also took a walk through the Castle Park and saw a Red Squirrel there, park is beautiful too which also has a walled garden. Lots of places to eat in Balloch and big Coop open 7 days a week until 10pm

Apart from the House of Fraser shopping centre there was not much else. Ideal for walking an=round the area but the town itself is in need of investment as it was pretty shabby, poor example of the gateway to Loch Lomond

Excellent host who was willing to fulfil our special request of a very late check-in - a request that we found very hard to accept by other hotels or guest houses doing in-person check-in in that area.
Fantastic breakfast menu you can choose from the evening before. Even better the taste and quantity of served meals we were not able to finish.
We had a very short but the better stay at Gowanlea Guest House I would recommend to anybody. If coming back to Balloch and surroundings, definitely going to stay at Gowanlea again.
Perfect location for a weekend with our two teenage children and dog. The lodge was perfect! Exceptionally well equipped, very clean, and comfortable. We can't wait to book again and would highly recommend the lodges. Duck Bay is a five minute walk away and you can also walk into Balloch which is a lovely town with so many nice pubs and places to eat. Also very dog friendly. Balloch House was a particular favourite - we had the most delicious roast on the Sunday.
Wow, what a beautiful cottage and very quiet area. Our assistant dog love it and what beautiful panto. Everything was excellent.
We drove to Luss, Helenburgh and Balloch which was not far.

We were walking to Duck Bay Hotel and Cameron House Hotel which was not far from this area.
Overall we had a lovely stay at Lomond Park hotel, Room was clean and had good amenities and shared bathroom was cleaned often. Perfect location, is only a short walk away from the Loch and Balloch train station. There are a few lovely restaurants near by and eating downstairs was great too. Breakfast included was a big plus, wasn't a full big breakfast but was a continental buffet which was perfect for us.
Beautiful farm for a nice, relaxed stay. Lesley is an excellent host. She gave us great ideas for things to do, was extremely friendly, and made us a delicious breakfast. The room was cute, excellent value for money, and was stocked with everything we could have possibly needed. The farm was very quiet, but took just a quick drive to get into town. We will certainly be back when we are in the area.
Breakfast was amazing........!!!!!! Both my husband and myself had the scottish breakfast, the first morning and it filled us up for the whole day. Location of hotel, is great. Train station right next door.
Only downfall, the bedrooms were a bit neglected looking. The decor could do with being freshened up. But the bed was so comfy as were the pillows.
Top class staff, super location.
Beautiful hotel in the centre of balloch. Very clean, warm and modern. Food and drinks top class. We would stay again just for the staff and management alone, superb hospitality, laughs and that wholesome friendly local welcome you come to expect from a small town stay. Thanks to all the staff at Loch Lomond Hotel.
We were in the "garden apartment" which could accommodate 3 people. The pull-out couch bed was surprisingly comfortable.
The location is FABULOUS- we could walk to beautiful Balloch Castle Country Park, pubs and restaurants.
Kevin and Elaine were very helpful. We were warmly greeted and felt well cared for. The breakfast was excellent.
Lovely hotel and all new internally, Beautiful location (one of our favourites) Staff were awesome at the front desk and also at the external bar...
The layout of the rooms were very well thought out withamazing views over the loch
Breakfast was ace too and so were the staff.
Walls / sound proofing could have been better...
Great location, very close to the beach, train station, restaurants etc.
The apartment was very clean and the garden was great for the kids. Thank you for the chocolate brioche - kids have loved it!
The host was very welcoming.
If we are ever back in Balloch would be looking to stay at Bellavista again.
Highly recommended
Quiet location with walks off the property for our two dogs. Room was very comfortable and had all that we needed, in fact more than we needed, fully fitted kitchen, for our overnight stay.
Fish & chips from Eddies Plaice in Alexandria / Balloch were lovely!

Balloch is great and he as much to offer at any time of year!
Excellent location for Loch Lomond, wifi was superb.
Staff were good and responsive and did their best while trying to run a bar, restaurant, nightclub and hotel. Not fair on them.
The hotel breakfast is quite good and the building itself is pretty. The location is decent enough — close to Glasgow and some other attractions. The gym and pool are nice as well.
We've been told that the hotel is new, and it was day 3 of it is opening when we arrived, the location was amazing, staff was so friendly and the caffe was nice
