Breakfast was really great. I didn't use the bar or beer garden, but they looked really great. The room was much more comfortable than I imagined it would be. Weirdly, the soap was amazing!

Lovely location at Port nan Gael, very clean, large room with a great bathroom / shower. Staff were very friendly, we really enjoyed our nights stay in the inn.

The breakfast was “OK” and the evening meal was excellent. But we were not offered any assistance with our bags upon arrival despite there being very steep stairs.

Breathtakingly beautiful on arrival with stunning views and 5,000 acres of incredible views in all directions. Inside was an adventure with lots to explore - large bedrooms, 3 living/sitting rooms (one accessed via steps up a castle turret!), huge bathroom with good shower and free-standing bath positioned for awesome views out over the fields towards the sea (admittedly not used because we’ve been having too much fun during daylong hours) well equipped kitchen and, a bit blowy at this time of year but access to the rooftop as well (further up the turret!!). Inside the castle it’s full of character and charm including dreamy log fires in the main living room every night. Outside are fantastic walks through beautiful wild surroundings, peppered with wildlife including highland cows! Our stay will live long in the memory and we won’t hesitate to return if we come back to Mull in the future. A big thank you to the lovely owners, particularly rescuing us on the first night with an extra pack of firelighters when I botched my first attempt to get the log fire going! :)

Location was perfect, with lovely views over the harbour, and gift shops all around. Bella made us very welcome and looked after everyone really well there, especially at breakfast time. We were sad to leave.

The cottage is set in a beautiful location - so quiet and peaceful - the roads are very narrow but plenty of passing spaces - Tobermory is a great place to explore with a good choice of bars, restaurants and shops and the highlight of our holiday was a boat trip to Staffa where we got close up to puffins nesting on the cliffs beside us - beautiful experience - wish we could have stayed longer than the three nights. The wildlife is spectacular with red deer, golden eagles and white tailed eagles if you are lucky to see them. Perfect place to unwind.
