Cherry the receptionist, who was endlessly cheerful and helpful and even carried our cases up to our bedroom. The spa is lovely, though the sauna could be a bit hotter. The breakfast is just amazing. And far too much for a mere mortal. I really wish we could have stayed longer.

The location was spot on for sight seeing around Bath. The breakfast was 10/10 absolutely delicious so many options!!! The room was so beautifully decorated and the bathroom as well. Super clean as well. Staff were super friendly. Lovely to have the pub adjoined next door which is a lovely place for a drink, we didn’t have the time to eat there but was always busy! Taking across the road 1 minute walk £15 per 24 hours which isn’t too bad. Waitrose nearby as well which is handy! Would definitely choose to stay here again if we returned to bath! Thankyou so much!

FAQs about hotels in Bath

Roman Remains and Georgian Grandeur

Wonderful, World Heritage-listed Bath is an impressive mix of Georgian architecture and Roman legacy. Its most famous landmark is the fantastic, natural hot spring Roman Baths. Although everything above the pillar bases is from a later period, you still get an idea of its appearance in Roman times. Sadly you can’t bathe here, but across the street the rooftop pool at Thermae Bath Spa offers views of Bath Abbey and the surrounding hills.

Check out the stained-glass windows in the abbey, England’s last remaining Gothic church. Its square houses Pump Rooms dispensing hot spring water from the Roman baths.

Just behind, the Parade Gardens by the River Avon overlook Bath Rugby Club, the multi-levelled Pulteney Weir and Grade I-listed Pulteney Bridge, lined with shops. Other Bath shopping options are the Southgate Shopping Centre, the bohemian Walcot Street market, and high street stores on Milsom and George streets.

North is The Circus, a circular square lined with Georgian townhouses, only marginally less impressive than the Royal Crescent down the road. You can now visit number 1 Royal Crescent, restored to its 18th-century glory.

Before heading to Bristol Airport from your Bath accommodation, take time to try the famous Sally Lunn Bun and stop at the pleasant pubs along the Kennet and Avon Canal.

We enjoyed Bath!

We enjoyed Bath! Sightseeing was amazing but wish we had a longer stay. Loved the apartment we stayed in. Simply stunning🙌🏽 the views from the bedrooms magnificent. If you planning to run the Bath half marathon make sure you make a weekend of it that's Friday to Monday. We only did Friday to Sunday. Checkout time was 11am but our host was so kind and allowed us to check out at 2pm as we would not have time to get back to check out. Thank you Christina 💗 we all love movement so walking was not an issue. If we had heavy shopping we hoped on the bus. All the high street shops from London is here so all good. We didn't get to try restaurants, bars or clubs as we were here for running😉 we are planning to return in the summer🙏🏽

We stayed in a hotel only 10 mins from the railway.

We stayed in a hotel only 10 mins from the railway. Highly recommend visiting the Roman Baths, Mary Shelly's Frankenstein and Jane Austin. We didn't go into the Abbey, however. Its beautiful from the outside. Lots of variety and choice for eating out We took a day tour with Rabbies to Stonehenge and the Cotswolds, incredible opportunity as we are almost 5 hour train ride away, so we wanted to make the most of it. Again, highly recommended

Bath is stunning. The vibe, the history and the shops.

Bath is stunning. The vibe, the history and the shops. So many places to choose to eat. Friendly restaurant staff and shop keepers. We ate at Zizzi, Colosseo and COPPA Club. All fabulous and excellent staff. There is a great mix of independent shops and well known brands, so much to explore. You can tell that the locals also take pride in their city as the streets are kept clean. The train station is central, it's nice to leave the car and not have to drive. We walked everywhere, visited Henrietta Park and Pulteney Bridge. We also explored the many cobbled streets that we hadn't seen before. A wonderful break, really looking forward to a return visit.

Staff very friendly and helpful, location great and importantly they don't charge stupid Bath prices. The full English breakfast is very good and it's just a few minutes drive/cab/bus to the City Centre (bus is actually probably quicker, as good bus lanes that shoot past the mandatory Bath stationery traffic!) My son is now at the University of Bath so will be popping down regularly and this hotel will be our place to stay.

Luxurious decor, clean and spacious bedroom and bathroom. The huge bed had the most comfortable mattress. Richard was a most entertaining and welcoming host for whom nothing was too much trouble. Anyone would love the location of the hotel for it is the most vibrant. Everything is at walking distant from your like the Thermal bath spa is just 2 mins away. All the photos uploaded along with the post are within 10 mins of walking distance from the hotel and the best part you have pubs right in front of the hotel which are operational late hours.
