The executive suite is a wonderful, big room which is lovingly furnished. There is a big seating area, a very comfortable bed and a copper bath tub next to the bed. Staff at the reception desk are very helpful and make you feel very welcome. There is a private parking both in front and at the back of the hotel. The cooked breakfast is very tasty.

FAQs about hotels in Bath

Roman Remains and Georgian Grandeur

Wonderful, World Heritage-listed Bath is an impressive mix of Georgian architecture and Roman legacy. Its most famous landmark is the fantastic, natural hot spring Roman Baths. Although everything above the pillar bases is from a later period, you still get an idea of its appearance in Roman times. Sadly you can’t bathe here, but across the street the rooftop pool at Thermae Bath Spa offers views of Bath Abbey and the surrounding hills.

Check out the stained-glass windows in the abbey, England’s last remaining Gothic church. Its square houses Pump Rooms dispensing hot spring water from the Roman baths.

Just behind, the Parade Gardens by the River Avon overlook Bath Rugby Club, the multi-levelled Pulteney Weir and Grade I-listed Pulteney Bridge, lined with shops. Other Bath shopping options are the Southgate Shopping Centre, the bohemian Walcot Street market, and high street stores on Milsom and George streets.

North is The Circus, a circular square lined with Georgian townhouses, only marginally less impressive than the Royal Crescent down the road. You can now visit number 1 Royal Crescent, restored to its 18th-century glory.

Before heading to Bristol Airport from your Bath accommodation, take time to try the famous Sally Lunn Bun and stop at the pleasant pubs along the Kennet and Avon Canal.

Bath is one of the most wonderful cities in England, if not the most wonderful. It is steeped in history, with plenty to see, to do, and to discover. It is easy to meander around the city center, with plenty of cafes and eateries to stop off at. A visit to the historic Roman Baths and pump room is a must, and if you want to swim and relax, visit the Bath Spa. It's easy to walk from the city centre to the riverside walkway or, alternatively, to walk up to the park where you can see the famous Royal Crescent. Further along, there is also a playground for children with a cafe.

Bath is a beautiful City with the top attractions being the Bath Thermae Spa and Roman baths, the city centre is vibrant with a good variety of shops, cafes and Restaurants. I ate in some local cafes for Brunch and the Boston Tea Party which have used before and like the vibe and food and drinks on offer. There are also numerous local Farm shops selling good quality local produce.

So much to see. Such a beautiful town.

So much to see. Such a beautiful town. So much history and so many beautiful buildings. Loved it. Needed more days. Our apartment was very central. We could walk everywhere. We collected a bird car out last day. Sadly parking is a pain, is hard to find and this is the case all throughout central Bath. The train was great to get there. We should’ve caught it out of there too, but it didn’t suit our plans. Be aware when booking apartments if you have a car!

This is one of the best boutique hotels I have stayed at so far. It is in an old 18th century building but was recently renovated. The decour, the choice of colours (loved the royal blue with white), the finishing, the attention to detail - everything was superb. Our room faced the inner garden that added to the beauty of the place. The bed was super comfortable, there was also slippers and robes for the guests. The staff was very nice, helpful and responsive. When I am in Bath again, I will definitelystay in Kennard again!
