The room and wash room are very spacious, super clean. It’s located in a nice residential area which is very quiet and safe. Staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast has good variety and it is delicious. We found a Thai restaurant within walking distance which provides very authentic Thai food.

We had a room in the smallest category on the top floor and were very happy with it. It was cosy, well designed, with a functional bathroom that even Had a bathtub. We loved the little details like the record player, the doll house with the coffee maker and the snacks from the pantry. The staff at No. 15 was exceptionally helpful and kind. We even got a little surprise in our room because it was my birthday.

We loved the property and all The great staff. Enjoyed a great country walk, amazing food and a great day around the pool. The staff don’t seem Like they work in a hotel, more like we stayed at their house for the weekend. Thanks for an amazing stay.

Wonderful cozy room in a townhouse B&B. Excellent pub next door (owned by the same group) and exceptional breakfast provided in the mornings. The complementary small bottle of prosecco and beer was a nice touch. We only stayed one night, but wish it could have been longer!

FAQs about hotels in Bath

Roman Remains and Georgian Grandeur

Wonderful, World Heritage-listed Bath is an impressive mix of Georgian architecture and Roman legacy. Its most famous landmark is the fantastic, natural hot spring Roman Baths. Although everything above the pillar bases is from a later period, you still get an idea of its appearance in Roman times. Sadly you can’t bathe here, but across the street the rooftop pool at Thermae Bath Spa offers views of Bath Abbey and the surrounding hills.

Check out the stained-glass windows in the abbey, England’s last remaining Gothic church. Its square houses Pump Rooms dispensing hot spring water from the Roman baths.

Just behind, the Parade Gardens by the River Avon overlook Bath Rugby Club, the multi-levelled Pulteney Weir and Grade I-listed Pulteney Bridge, lined with shops. Other Bath shopping options are the Southgate Shopping Centre, the bohemian Walcot Street market, and high street stores on Milsom and George streets.

North is The Circus, a circular square lined with Georgian townhouses, only marginally less impressive than the Royal Crescent down the road. You can now visit number 1 Royal Crescent, restored to its 18th-century glory.

Before heading to Bristol Airport from your Bath accommodation, take time to try the famous Sally Lunn Bun and stop at the pleasant pubs along the Kennet and Avon Canal.

Such a beautiful clean city.

Such a beautiful clean city. Spoilt for choice when it comes to wonderful places to eat and drink. Buildings are amazing. This city has been unspoilt by progress. Love it so much, relocation is on the cards

Ensure you take a free guided tour of the city.

Ensure you take a free guided tour of the city. Tour lasts about 2 hours and is a great way to get information early on. If walking is too much, take a bus! The entry price to the baths themselves is expensive at £31, but it’s probably what you are there for! Go in the evening, it’s open until 10pm, as it’s not so busy, has the fire torches lit and a bar as well! 3 hours is enough time to take it all in. Unbelievable selection of restaurants, but take your time to select a family run place in one of the smaller back streets and you won’t be disappointed!

The city is so easy to walk around, it’s steeped in history and has lots of activities. We did the Thermae Spa which was great, then Sally Lunn’s for lunch, then the Jane Austen Centre which was a lot of fun dressing up and then the Bridgerton walking tour the following day. It was a really fun mini break.

There are many attractions in Bath.

There are many attractions in Bath. They all seem to charge around £30 pp. No 1 Royal Crescent was interesting giving an example of life in the 18th century. However it's not very accessible as there are many stairs and narrow corridors. Leisurely riverboat cruises are also available. There are many cafes and restaurants. We had a fabulous meal at Antica Bath Restaurant near to Pulteney Bridge. Also ate at Herd steak house. Good meal but dining is way down flights of steep stairs in the basement which we found a bit claustrophobic. Overall we had a very enjoyable break in Bath.

Lovely boutique hotel a short walk from the town centre in a traditional bath stone terrace. Comfortable room with just enough space for a long weekend break. Excellent breakfast. Nice staff on hand in the day. Free street parking is available 1900-0800 outside if you are lucky and there is also the Podium car park at £18 for 24 hours is good value and close by.
