If you want to understand the city better the DC History of Terrorism walking tour was hard-hitting but excellent. The Odyssey small coach trip to Giants Causeway, a hop on hop off bus, and the guided tour of City Hall are all worth doing. Lovely community cafe in the City Hall. Great live music and friendly people in the bars. Superb steak and cocktail at James St restaurant (not cheap but was recommended to me by a local and didn't disappoint).

The City Bus Tour was very good, the driver had a great sense of humour and fund of anecdotes about the city and its people. The Titanic exhibition was worth a visit and covered the whole story in some depth but it is pricey. The National Trust properties in the area are a must if you are a member, the guides were brilliant and really brought the properties to life with their stories. The guide at the Giants Causeway spun some great yarns. The bus service is very good and if you have a problem a local is always happy to help.

Lots to do and prices for places to visit were fair.

Lots to do and prices for places to visit were fair. Easy to get around and reasonable costs for buses, trains etc. Lovely people in the Belfast Information Centre. You need at least a week to see most of Belfast! Just note that buses do not stop unless you indicate for them to do so, not very helpful.
