Situated 200 metres from South Beach and 30 km from The Spa Scarborough in Bessingby, Once Upon a Tide - Bridlington Chalet offers accommodation with a kitchen.

The chalet felt nice and homely and was very clean and tidy. It was just what we needed after a long stressful day stranded on the motorway broken down. Thank you

especially liked the location albeit audible traffic noise. Would have liked it even more if Housekeeping remembers to top up the handwash. Liked the views fr the bed! Liked the choices of food in the restaurant. Restaurant staff very accomodating and friendly.

While in property, we visited local restaurants ; The Manor was very good and open 1200-1500 for lunch. Also visited Burton Agnes Hall & Gardens. Found another pub nearby ; Friendly Forester which offered good value meals. We travelled by own car to visit places around area. If others like walking, is a good place to stay as country lanes are on the doorstep. Also not far from Bridlington coast if that is your scene!

Not easy to get too up single rutted track.

Not easy to get too up single rutted track. Not easy to access main road where food parking for access to main beach and town where main food outlets were. Bridlington very good parking with bus or land train into the town good prom and Spa Centre Harbour and boats, lovely shops plenty of coffee shops etc and good standards (not loud or lots of fair ground noise) Very upmarket properties and well maintained B/B's and small hotels, all streets well kept

Bridlington beach is great for walking along and for children to play. The fish and chips are excellent from the cafe along the front. Walking is the best way to get around, and it is possible to walk all the way from the South beach along to the North Beach at the other end of Bridlington.
