We had an absolutely wonderful stay! The property, dating back to the 13th century, is stunning and full of character. It’s set in a beautiful, lush, and green area that offers a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The staff were very professional and welcoming, making us feel right at home. Dinner was fantastic, Apo was a wonderful host at the restaurant and every detail was thoughtfully taken care of. Also Pedro was a great host making our first day very enjoyable. Truly loved everything about our stay.

The Hotel is beautifully located and provides quality services from hotel restaurant food quality to the outstanding breakfast. However is the staff friendliness and professionalism that sets this hotel above and beyond all others. From the top manager Ana to the junior staff, all have made our and other guests stay a pure delight, even during a fire drill.

FAQs about hotels in Birmingham

Top-Class Shopping, Culture and Sport

The UK's 2nd largest city, Birmingham is one of its top cultural centres. Well-known for the M6 Spaghetti Junction interchange, it is a surprisingly green city with lots of open spaces.

Most city centre hotels in Birmingham are near New Street Station. To the east is the futuristic architecture of the new Bull Ring shopping centre, and just behind is Digbeth Coach Station. To the west is Victoria Square, home of the town hall and a German Christmas Market.

The Mailbox is one of the newest additions to the Birmingham shopping scene, and behind it is one of the canals converging on the Gas Street Basin. By one canal are the ICC (International Convention Centre) and the NIA (National Indoor Arena), both venues that host major events.

Just opposite is Brindleyplace, a canal-front complex of restaurants, bars and hotels near Broad Street – the main nightlife area. It is popular with students at nearby Birmingham University, whose clock tower is modelled on the one in Siena. Just south in Bournville is Cadbury World, and there are several hotels on Hagley Road to the north, which are available on Booking.com.

The city is also known for sports – Aston Villa and Birmingham City are the top football clubs, while Edgbaston Cricket Ground hosts international matches. Other Birmingham attractions include Hockley’s Jewellery Quarter and the NEC arena by Birmingham International Airport.

Such a vibrant buzzing place and then you have the tranquility of the canal walks and the parks. Amazing cafes in the city centre outside of the Bull ring, fantastic architecture and great music venues. Not what I was expecting but my new favourite place to visit.

Birmingham is very walkable- we went to the Bullring shops and markets, the library and museum area and saw a play at one of the theatres. Also went to the Indian Brewery company ( a little out of town but still only a short walk near Snow Hill Station) All easy to get to and amazing choice of eateries, cafes and bars. Bar/cafe opposite Easy hotel where I stayed had a nice vibe too. The Mailbox area is nice with good choice of restaurants - would be ideal on a sunny day to sit outside away from central area.

We liked the fact that your hotel was so close to the central square. It took a while to get our bearings though and a map might have helped as would a general list of nearby restaurants and infomation on bus and tram services would have been helpful. Mostly tidy tourist areas, although some side walkways neglected.

The trip was ok.. we attended the concert which was the reason for our visit, but were unable to shop the next day due to it being Easter. We were fined for not paying an emissions charge. We hadn't realised Birmingham had such a thing and didn't notice the signs as we were concentrating on which direction to take and on our speed. We will not visit Birmingham again.

The property is in a great location, offering easy access to Birmingham via train or tram. There’s plenty of on-site parking available at £8 for 24 hours, which is much cheaper than most city centre options. Access is straightforward using the mobile key app. The apartment itself is spacious, with great facilities, and offers excellent value for money compared to many budget hotels does need a little TLC

The hotel is very conveniently placed, close to Birmingham City Centre and within walking distance of the local tram stop. The hotel is a little dated, but it is a pleasant place to stay and has a certain charm about it. The staff were helpful and the facilities were good.
