I got a 10th floor room with a great view of Birmingham skyline. Hotel restaurant offers a great buffet breakfast with a lot of variety. Each breakfast item was made with care. 24 hour exercise room. Paid parking available with a parking company right in front of hotel main entrance. Hotel located in the heart of Birmingham close to many visitor sites. Many wonderful restaurants nearby. Give the Biryani Jackfruit a try at Dishoom Restaurant in Victoria Square especially if you are a vegetarian. I am a meat eater and I liked Biryani.

The UK's 2nd largest city, Birmingham is one of its top cultural centers. Well-known for its M6 Spaghetti Junction interchange, it's also a surprisingly green city with lots of open spaces.
Most city center hotels in Birmingham are near New Street Station. To the east is the futuristic architecture of the new Bull Ring shopping center, and behind that is Digbeth Bus Station. To the west is Victoria Square, home of the town hall and a German Christmas Market.
The Mailbox is one of the newest additions to the Birmingham shopping scene, and behind it is one of the canals converging on the Gas Street Basin. By one canal are the ICC (International Convention Center) and the NIA (National Indoor Arena), both venues that host major events.
Just across the street is Brindleyplace, a canal-front complex of restaurants, bars and hotels near Broad Street – the main nightlife area. It is popular with students at nearby Birmingham University, whose clock tower is modeled on the one in Siena. Just south in Bournville is Cadbury World, and there are several hotels on Hagley Road to the north, which are available on Booking.com.
The city is also known for sports – Aston Villa and Birmingham City are the top soccer clubs, while Edgbaston Cricket Ground hosts international matches. Other Birmingham attractions include Hockley’s Jewellery Quarter and the NEC arena by Birmingham International Airport.

Bull Ring Centre is easily accessible from New Street Train Station. Lots of taxis and trams to take you around to main attractions. Plenty of hotels in main locations. Lots of places to eat, shop, watch shows and explore.

We stayed centrally and walked all round the city doing a clue trail. There are lots of historic buildings, including the cathedral to see and the canal area is lovely on a sunny day. There is a big choice of places to eat and drink, all close together but we were glad to have booked in advance because it did get quite busy in the evening. The city does become quite noisy at night in some areas. We visited Cadbury World which offered a good mix of history, information about chocolate making and interactive, fun activities including chocolate tasting, a 3D simulation experience and a ride!

The city is beautiful, well organized, lots of greenery, fast and well organized transportation, the center full of places to spend time, all kinds of facilities. I would love to live here. Unfortunately, the municipality does not have the legislative power to educate immigrants who make a lot of mess and destroy the positive image of the city. Their lack of education has no place in civilized places if they do not want to change. The natives have become a minority from what I observed during my walks for 5 days.

Use the tram service, with a day long ticket.
Use the tram service, with a day long ticket. The library, believe it or not, is an unbelievable experience. Do not bother with the jewel quarter though. Chinatown was wonderful although hardly advertised. Located on Hurst St behind the station. An evening waking along the canal and having a well deserved beer was divine. The Catholic Cathederal of Saint Chads is so much more intimate and inspiring than the others. Just enjoy the experience of Birmingham and returning to the Hotel and relax in the lobby with a compliment cool drink.

In a great location on Broad street in Birmingham city centre. There is parking behind the hotel and you just drive into the multi storey letting staff know you have a vehicle with you on check in. Amazingly clean, the lobby was secure, the staff were very welcoming and the rooms were furnished to a great standard. Breakfast was a good standard and just a beautiful hotel all around!
Really good hotel for the city centre of Birmingham. We parked at the Mailbox and it was an easy 5 minute walk. The floor we stayed on was really quiet which was excellent. Lifts are fast and frequent. Breakfast was fine with a reasonable selection. The eating area was busy but they do provide information on the busiest times and there were lots of staff about to help also.
The hotel is very conveniently placed, close to Birmingham City Centre and within walking distance of the local tram stop.
The hotel is a little dated, but it is a pleasant place to stay and has a certain charm about it. The staff were helpful and the facilities were good. We really enjoyed breakfast and found the room to be comfortable.
Perfect location for train station and just a short walk to China town and the rest of the heart of Birmingham city centre.Hotel staff very helpful the room in which I stayed was was spotless and comfortable.
I picked this hotel as I was going to an event near by. It is a grand looking hotel. The room was spacious and comfortable and breakfast was very good. Also close to Birmingham City Centre
