Perfect location right next to the station. The staff were very genial and friendly - I was given a free upgrade to a better room. Lovely lounge area with a roaring wood fire. A building full of character with lots of local and historical ambience. The Bothy Bar was open in the evening for good food and nice local beer.

The very Scottish feel and comfort of the rooms was great. The bathroom was very nice and the showers incredible. The staff were excellent and very friendly. The icing on the cake for a few days away with the wife was my special request to make my wife smile was honoured and it made her day. Thank you to the management for organising this!

Breakfast was good if unremarkable. Staff were very courteous. In fact they were really kind. My accommodation was better than I'd expected and I liked the spaciousness of the Bank House. I would go there again. The hospitality tray was kept well topped-up - a small but pleasant feature of my stay.

Quaint little town, with lots to offer. We had breakfast at the Old Water Mill, a must! Excellent breakfast and the bread is to die for. The Atholl Arms was good, service a little slow, but we were in no rush.

The bedroom was not as displayed on the booking .com and their own site, and the bed was very uncomfortable as you could feel the springs through the mattress. The bathroom was updated and looks lovely the bedroom was large but in need of up grading the tv was old and small the remote did not work as it was not the remote for the tv so you had change tv station/sound manually. This hotel is not a five star hotel and there was no evidence of deep cleaning or indeed any professional cleaning. It is understaffed and there is certainly not the ratio of staff to clients that is required by a 5 star rating. We purchased an expensive bottle of white wine (£65) which was served warm and we had to give instructions about chilling it to the right temperature. This hotel is not only not worthy of its price point but is not professionally managed or overseen. We left a day early because our stay was so compromised by the lack of facilities and the cleanliness issues which we felt presented a real risk to health.AnitaUnited Kingdom

We stayed in one of the smaller stable rooms, and while it was a bit cramped with all our bags, the bed was very comfortable. The reception spaces in the main house were lovely and the grounds were really beautiful. We enjoyed the experience of meeting other guests in the reception room for drinks before the delicious dinner at the hotel restaurant. The hotel staff were so welcoming. We loved the cottage, being near the train station and hearing the running trains made our holiday and hearing the birds singing. The people in Blair Atholl are lovely, very approachable and easy to speak to. My parents loved everything about their holiday and have been telling their friends and family of their lovely time away. We are hoping that we may have another opportunity in the future to return to the Old Mill Cottage.

Blair Atholl is situated in a very nice quiet country area, very peaceful to walk around. We had a short break, didn't have time to get to the Mill for coffee and a scone. Coffee Shop at Rannoch Station is a must visit.

We arrived three hours later than anticipated due to a bad traffic accident and they kindly kept the cooks 10 minutes late so that we could have dinner. The hotel itself is lovely and stately. It’s a proper hunting manor with all kinds of stuffed beasts. The room was adorable and very comfortable. Very nice area to walk around in and easy walk to Blair Castle.
