IndiaI had a great stay at The Grove Hotel in Bournemouth. The location is perfect, very close to the beach and all main attractions.
The staff were the highlight of my stay — extremely friendly, helpful, and always welcoming. They made everything smooth and comfortable from check-in to checkout.
The hotel was clean and well-maintained throughout, which made the stay even more pleasant.
Overall, a really enjoyable experience. Would definitely recommend and stay again!

The staff were friendly & helpful. Plenty of parking.
Breakfast was fresh, tasted good & there was a lot of choice.
Alternative milks available at breakfast, which is a big plus as I can't drink milk.

Sea Air and Savoir-Faire
Known for its sandy beaches and good nightlife, Bournemouth is a popular seaside resort on the Dorset coast between Poole and Christchurch.
The town is centred on the Bourne River, running downhill towards the sea by Bournemouth Pier. This pier looks back towards a promenade lined with beach huts at the foot of grassy cliffs. The promenade continues west to Poole, while a road goes east to neighbouring Boscombe, where anglers often fish from its pier. Overlooking it is a clifftop road housing some Bournemouth hotels with sea views.
Booking.com also offers hotels near the BIC – Bournemouth International Centre in the West Cliff area. This convention centre and music venue is a short walk from the Art Deco Pavilion Theatre, located next to the Lower Gardens. In this popular city park is the Bournemouth Eye, a tethered hot air balloon that offers far-reaching views.
At the park’s top end the river disappears under a large square, then emerges in the Central Gardens. Overlooking these gardens is the Victorian town hall, which used to be one of several spa hotels in Bournemouth. Opposite is a Grade I-listed church, and St Peter’s Church has the grave of Mary Shelley, author of ‘Frankenstein’.
On the outskirts of town, near 4 golf courses and the Castlepoint Shopping Centre, is Bournemouth Airport.

Golden sands and sparklingly clear sea with all kinds of sports and entertainment to enjoy. Was lucky enough to see the RNLI practising their sea rescue manoeuvrers at sea, God bless them volunteers! Bournemouth town is stunning with its large garden areas, beautiful architecture, and ample pubs, shops and large selection of food outlets. The atmosphere around the town is a mixture of peaceful seaside resort for families and older people, youthful student culture, vibrant night life, and stunning natural beauty.

Bournemouth Central to visiting other towns with plenty of buses going every few minutes. Shame the land train no longer functioning which was a great asset taking you to Boscombe one way and Alum chine the other way
Car parking expensive but go to Central parking with is the cheapest at £6 for a day

Some say the staff make a hotel, I believe this to be true.
Some say the staff make a hotel, I believe this to be true. I thought however this time it did not feel the same. There was a sad lack of female front of house staff. The males were efficient but I did not feel welcomed on this visit, and we have stayed at this hotel a few times now.
It is a nice hotel and happily situated on east over cliff. The sea was the first view we had in the morning and the last at night, stunning, taking in the whole bay.
There was an issue with the menu, as this was in the process of change so choices were limited. The waiting staff worked very hard in the restaurant. trying to be attentive to all the covers in the dining, Well done those men.

For me it was a memory lane, in 1983 I've been to the Southbourne School of English, I have been back in 2005. A must see is: Russell-Cotes Art Gallery & Museum, East Cliff Promenade. Fully furnished stunning house. The New Forest where horses walk in the streets and in the forest of course. Brockenhurst to avoid, too overrated, nothing to do.

Town centre seriously run down and full of drug addicts and drunks which everyone talked about. Boscombe sadly the same. The authorities need to get a grip on this as it is so harmful for the town. However it is a lovely area once outside the town with lots to see and do and Poole great.
Excellent bus services to get around with especially the open top ones. The Russel Coates museum was excellent and well worth a visit and beaches fantastic.

Loads of branded and independent restaurants
Bit hilly so for anyone with mobility issues would need to factor in.

Exceptional bus service.
Lots of parking spaces average £22 for 24 hours.

I only ever come and stay at the Royal bath hotel when I come to Bournemouth it’s got a really special place in my heart
I love how old this hotel is and I’m quite happy. It’s had a little bit of a fresh lick of pain inside as I feel like it needed that.
I paid for a room that was meant to not have a window and when we arrived, the woman had upgraded us and we had a Seaview and I actually cried when I got into the room because it was so beautiful

Excellent place. Impecable. Cleaner than many 5 star hotels. The place smelled amazing too. Well located. Amazing host. I strongly recommend this place. Next time I go to Bournemouth, I will try stay here again. Lots of parking on the street.

It's looking tired in places but a lot of seafront hotels do in Bournemouth.
It was a pleasant stay,family room was a good size. Lovely view of the pier.
