Bradford is this year's City of Culture. It has a wonderful architectural heritage. The spacious city centre is now completely pedestrianised, with attractive gardens around City Hall. Clearly much had been done to enhance the area round city park and city hall. The car free environment and flower beds were lovely. I made a day trip in May and the fountains and lake were being enjoyed by many children. A bonus. The. Useum of science and photography was very interesting and well organised. I will not return as I did not feel safe enough in the daytime in the city centre, with so many waifs and strays just hanging around being a nuisance let alone enough to go out out at night. Bradford is this year's city of culture, and we went for the steam train journey to Carlisle. they are doing another one in autumn, I recommend doing it first class. We found some great restaurants in town and very good value for money. It was disappointing how few people were out and about in the town on an evening, but I guess that is a reflection of the culture of the city. Some great industrial architecture.Guest review byIsaacs

Location of apartment is excellent, shops nearby and everything centre of Bradford has to offer on your doorstep.
