We got an upgrade to a deluxe room which was great. We stayed here for the Jazz festival and the hotel is in a great location - right in the middle of the action. The band we came to see stayed in the hotel as well so it must have a good reputation. We will be back next year.

We received a room upgrade thanks to my Genius Level 3. The Hotel is ideally situated to visit the centre and the Montpellier area of the town. Room was spacious and inviting. Breakfast was just enough. Staff were very polite and hospitable. Attended to our needs.

The Thatch Inn is just 3 miles from Gloucester and 5 minutes' drive off the M5 motorway. Offering free WiFi, free private parking and en-suite rooms with smart TVs.

Fairly near to family who we were visiting. Near to a barbers we made use of and a large supermarket handy for anything I forgot to bring with me. It was lovely to stay in an English pub with Hawkstone beer to try though we preferred the special bitter. Lively menu which we felt would cover all tastes. Night one we had been out at lunchtime so just had the fish platter to share , second night we both had the steak perfectly cooked to our liking. Didn’t have dessert though they looked good when served to an adjacent table !

Fridge for milk and crockery. Having read trip advisor after booking I was very concerned but it was clean and ok for a couple of nights. Managed to park in the small car park all the time.
