It was in a beautiful isolated spot in the middle of the Yorkshire dales. The pub mostly retained its original features and felt very homely. The breakfast was superb and kept us going all day. Our very nice hostess included it in the price which we hadn’t expected. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was modern. Internet was surprisingly good.

The Fox and Hounds was a wonderful stop along the Dales Way. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, really couldn't do enough for us and the rooms were clean and comfortable with lovely views to relax to during the evening. The food was good and the atmosphere throughout our stay was very relaxing. I would recommend picking up a packed lunch if you are walking the way as they were very generous and kept us going through the next day.
