Burley Manor is set in the heart of the New Forest and offers views of the neighbouring deer sanctuary. The on-site restaurant has a Mediterranean influence.

Fabulous retreat in an idilic location Amazing hut Could be better - attention to detail matters in small spaces. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Cottage Lodge Hotel is set in the Victorian village of Brockenhurst, nestled in the heart of the New Forest National Park.

Excellent location, friendly and attentive staff, amazing breakfast. Upon check-in, we were welcomed with a coffee and a delicious homemade cake, made with locally sourced ingredients. They also recommended us a route to do some hiking and to see some animals. Unfortunately we cannot comment on the dining restaurant because it was closed on the day we went. Perfect place for a getaway! We will definitely be back!

I am biased as I visit Burley every year at this time of the year for one of my Granddaughter's Birthdays. I love Burley! I used to come with my partner in our Camper Van and stay on the Forest for a few days. Unfortunately, he passed away just before Christmas and I am disabled & don't drive. My Granddaughter was upset that Nana wouldn't be able to do the usual trip this year, but I discovered that I could travel there by train - well 3 actually! It took nearly 5 hours, but the Rail Staff were so helpful and I felt accomplished at making the journey alone. Most of the shop keepers in the Village are kind and friendly and the Staff at The Burley Inn were lovely.

We were suposed to stay for two nights, which would have been just right, but terrible weather(amber flood warnings) prevented that. Also we were not there for a holiday but family things so some questions not really appicable.

The whole of Burley is amazing to walk round. 🐎 Horse and trailer rides that goes round the area. Not expensive and worth paying for. Large carpark. Plenty of shops and tea rooms, 3 pubs to dine in and taste the local food and drink. Postoffice and butchers with fresh bread and produce. Antique shops and souvenir lovely shops. Try the fudge and local produce. Recommended, 100%.

Hotel was in a great location, but the kitchen struggled with the number of people wanting breakfast (our breakfast was just awful - 45 minute wait for cold food) and our evening meal was nothing special.

A lovely part of the country (although, sadly, my short stay coincided with winter) and this was a great location to stay as I spent a day at Beaulieu before planning to head to Southampton. I ate at my hotel (Burley Manor), which I can highly recommend for both dining and rooms. I didn't stay long enough to find any dissadvantages to the area, although my expectations may be somewhat higher if I were travelling during the summer months.

The scenic location was idyllic and peaceful. Burley Manor is beautiful and set in a picturesque village which has many witchcraft shops. The New Forest trails are breathtaking with wild ponies, cows and red deer freely roaming the streets and forest.
