Fab view of the castle from the sitting room. And sea view from bedroom. Modern, clean, well equipped, comfy sofa, smart TV. Safe free parking immediately behind the property.
Nice touch to find a few basics like washing up liquid; dishwasher tablets etc.

It's a very nice property converted to a very high standard, with a lovely garden and surrounded by green spaces. Excellent parking including EV charges (untested) and great utility room for washing sports kit. Lovely size rooms all tastefully decorated. A really lovely place to spend time with family.

The new manager, Will, who was due to start on the Friday as we left on the Thursday. He resolved our booking issue that should have been resolved by the outgoing manager, Kim, on the day of our arrival. Thankyou Will.
The cleaners came into our room daily and replenished our refreshments and tidied the room to a good standard.

We had a great time at the Comis hotel . The breakfast was delicious with lots of choice , you couldn’t fault the food or the attentive staff.
There was a dog bed and treats in the room for our dog, they had thought of everything.

our whole stay was very good under the circumstances.
all staff were very friendly and helpful, but a special shout out to the young lady who was there late at night and back early for breakfast. She was very friendly and polite.

The hotel was really lovely , really helpful staff. We ate in the restaurant which was excellent. Room very spacious and little touches which not many hotels do anymore like seeing kits and sparkling and still water . Also plenty of hangers, which generally is my problem. Would highly recommend

The Castle was really interesting and well worth a visit.
The Castle was really interesting and well worth a visit. There were some other small museums that were interesting but the man in the maritime ? museum went rambling on too much and we had to leave before we actually saw the boat and the smugglers route. Some pleasant walks along the coast and in the town.

We were amazed at how special Castletown is!
We were amazed at how special Castletown is!
The castle is a must see; so well preserved, it is a constant in the background, with the sun shining on it.
The community square in front of the George Hotel is a real asset, whoever thought of putting the ping pong tables, piano, table football and deckchairs is a genius! We loved the happy atmosphere of people enjoying themselves.
The harbour is very picturesque, you can sit outside the Glue Pot in the sunshine and admire the view.. we enjoyed walking through the little streets with interesting and immaculate houses and also walking along the beach with rock pools and a number of light houses!
We arrived by steam train and enjoyed trying out all the pubs in the town.

Castletown has everything you need within it.
Castletown has everything you need within it. Good pubs and places to eat. To see the rest of the island you do need transport as there are many places of interest to visit including museums such as the TT museum at Ramsey or Murray's museum of around 150 motorbikes that comes with a cup of tea and welcoming staff who work there. Castletown is a great base for a visit to explore the island at your leisure and would recommend it to all.
