Cirencester is lovely in itself but also a great base to explore the region.
Parking was relatively easy compared to other towns with some car parks very close to the centre.
The Bear Inn was a good place to the end a days exploring with good food at reasonable prices.

This quiet little town offered us fabulous shopping in independent shops with little lanes to poke around in. The church is stunning and worth a visit…it was warm to!!
Plenty of places to eat. Thoroughly recommend a visit. Parking easy although ticket machines didn’t work but someone came and fixed it

Staff were welcoming and accommodating. Our room was comfortable and fresh with everything we needed. The location was close to the town centre but quiet with a lovely garden and relaxing bar area which had 3 well-kept cask ales on. We awoke to bird song rather than traffic! Plentiful breakfast with good choice. The directions on the hotel website made it easy to find amongst the town one-way system.
I liked the location of the hotel, it sits away from the town centre, yet a short walk to get there. It was lovely and quiet with very individualised rooms. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Great outside space too.
The Eliot Arms is outstanding Cotswolds accomodation. The rooms are excellent and there is a quality bar and restaurant within the hotel. The staff are very engaged. I look forward to staying again.
