Housed in a historic building, the recently renovated Quarrie House features accommodation with a garden and free WiFi. This aparthotel provides free private parking and a shared kitchen.

There was everything you needed for a short stay. The property was mostly clean. The kitchen area could do with some tlc but that may be down to guests. It's in a great location with local shops, pubs and restaurants all in walking distance.

The DoubleTree by Hilton is a classic hotel, loved for years by visitors to Newcastle.

Location for airport, restaurant very good in evening & afternoon, however we did experience cooked breakfast a little underwhelming on previous visits. Rooms very comfortable.

Village Hotel Newcastle is just 15 minutes' drive from Newcastle city centre. The hotel offers a leisure club with a 25-metre pool.

Breakfast was very nice and had everything on offer that you would expect, but very overpriced for what it is. £10pp is a little steep for a help-yourself-buffet of pretty standard breakfast items… nothing special! The gym and pool facilities also very good.

    Everything you want & need is in the town centre, plenty of shops, good public transport, buses & trains. Easy access to A19 & A1, so very conveniently located for visiting other attractions & destinations. Good selection of takeaways & pubs.

    We were very satisfied with our stay at Quarrie House. Everything about the place suited our requirements. Very friendly couple. Breakfast was very good and plentiful. We will be back again as we visit relatives in Cramlington.
