There was plenty of room as there were 8 of us. The log burner was lovely. The location was close to an Indian takeaway as we only wanted to eat, chill and chat. The price of the bungalow was good. The water was warm and the beds were clean.

Shower a bit small
But absolutely beautiful couple. Food was cooked perfectly and homemade by Helen & Steven.
You must try her lemon drizzle cake. It’s sublime 🫶🏻
The dogs were full of affection too.

We had previously booked this property in 2020 but unfortunately COVID hit and we had to cancel, luckily for us the property was still ongoing.
Our hosts Jane and Nigel (and their daughter Fay who corresponded with us often) are lovely people and fantastic hosts, giving wonderful tips on eating out choices, touring around, etc, etc.
The breakfasts provided were substantial, with considerable options.
Our room was spacious and clean, bathroom was absolutely brilliant and our bed extremely comfortable.

Stunning location, really peaceful with no cars, nice views over the small local valley. Well kept, clean and tidy estate, excellent facilities, especially for dogs (towels, treats and a warm shower)!! Firm but comfortable bed and pillows, all mod cons in the kitchen. private and open garden areas, you may walk the whole estate. Nice, heated pool.. Made very welcome. recently renovated. Would deffo go back. The birdsong was amazing. Got really lucky with the weather, 4 warm sunny days, amazing for a short break over 1st May!!

The whole setting was so peaceful and calm. The hosts were amazing. Friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable.
The photos do not do the accommodation any justice..it is immaculate and finished to a very high standard..and has some lovely finishing touches.

Nice little village away from the busy city life. Highlights were Huang Dynasty Chinese takeaway (highly recommend), Crisp and fry fish and chip shop, and Jas cafe (great value for money). There is also a shopping centre near by that has a hike bargains, aldi and Lidl all within short driving distance.

Beautiful place to stay forna perfect get away. Evrything you need is provided and the tent was spotlessly clean with a comfy bed. Extra logs were provided by the very friendly host. Perfect to sit by the open pit fire and watch the stars .

Room - we chose - too cramped - but the price was low - so expected that.
Plenty of restaurants within 20 mins car travel.
Lovely Countryside just outside the doors.
Swansea and Mumbles, Carmarthen, Pendine Sands, Tenby, St Davids, Fishguard - All in easy reach for Days Out and about.

The cottage is not actually in Cross Hands, but nearby Tumble. An ex miners cottage which has been superbly refurbished and beautifully equipped. My canine companion and myself had a fantastic 3 day stay. Immediately outside the back door is a huge dog friendly field. Within 10 minutes walk there is woodland.Within 30 minutes drive is a world class beach at Pembrey . There is much to explore locally and it's a pleasure to come back to the accomodation which has everything you need. If you are a light sleeper. I am. You may find the traffic noise at night disruptive. So bring earplugs or move to the rear bedroom. It has bunks, but worked for me. In summary, Cara and myself had a great time and hope to return again soon!

We found everything about the accommodation and hosts to be top class. Nothing was too much for them and they were so friendly.
Helen and Steve are just the sort of caring hosts you want when staying somewhere. They especially made a fuss of our dog which was the most important thing to us.

Fabulous place-Helen & Steve are wonderful hosts, and the breakfasts are the best
i've had in 40 years of visiting this lovely country. Big room, excellent en-suite and pretty garden to relax in. Candy & Ffion the dogs, are just adorable. We did the National Botanic Gardens (15 mins up the road) and The Gower (40 mins away), and can say that Beudy Bachs Is THE best place to base yourself at for a break in the wonderful Carmarthenshire countryside. Would definitely come again, if only for one of Helen's Breakfasts.
