The property was excellent. Food service was poor. Staff served up wrong food which was accepted to save wasting time as we were with a larger group. Table service for evening meal was disorganized and wrong wine delivered
Set in a stylish modern building, this 4-star hotel serves local produce in its elegant, dark wood restaurant. Free private parking is provided and there is a contemporary bar and terrace seating...

Beautiful decor, room was small but cute and had everything we needed (and more). Food was brill! Great atmosphere.
With a spa and award-winning restaurant, Macdonald Crutherland House is 20 minutes’ drive from Glasgow center. Located within 37 acres of parkland, the hotel offers free parking and elegant bedrooms.

The location, parking, gardens and outside spaces were all well maintained and picturesque.
Breakfast was very good and great service.
Bar area and other space was well equipped and comfortable.

Super helpful staff throughout the hotel. Location was perfect for us, within easy reach of Glasgow. Room was huge with comfy bed however, could hear doors slamming shut from about 6am.
Conveniently located just off Junction 6 of the M74, with easy access to Motherwell and Eurocentral, this hotel offers free Wi-Fi throughout and free parking in the adjacent car park.

A twin room for 2 adults that was a bed and a small sofa with insufficient bedding. Price was excellent comfort very poor.
Days Inn Hamilton is just off the M74, at the 24-hour motorway services by the River Clyde and Strathclyde Loch. It has free parking and rooms with TVs and Wi-Fi.

Days Inn are fairly solid and reliable and this place is pretty much the same. It is well located off the motorway and easy to find in the service area. The room was basic but appointed in the fashion you would expect.
Beautifully positioned in a peaceful tree-lined drive on the south side of Glasgow, overlooking the historic Queen’s Park, this luxury hotel is 3 miles from the city center.

Great hotel, huge rooms and bathroom. Well stocked bar. Used for 1 night for a gig but would come back and stay longer
In Glasgow's East End, The Fullarton Park Hotel is only a 5-minute walk from Tollcross International Leisure Center and 5 minutes' drive from Emirates Arena and Celtic Park.

It’s not going to delight anyone with history but the people and amenities are excellent.
I suspect most people will travel to East Kilbride in business but staying just outside Glasgow has many benefits. It’s much cheaper, you get a much nicer quality of air/environment and you can get parked almost everywhere for free. You won’t get that in Glasgow!

We only go away now and then for a few nights and this was ideal as we came from Edinburgh so not a big journey.
Some reviews said the hotel was " dated " but I thought it was absolutely lovely . I dont need a big fancy modern cold place..this was absolutely ideal and great...
We ate out in Punjabi Tadka in the evening and it was great and very good value.
We drove into Glasgow and went to the Riverside Museum and walked over the new Govan Footbridge..we also had lunch in " VEGAN" on Dumbarton Rd . I am not Vegan but my wife is vegetarian and i found it to be very nice indeed and cheap.

I'm sorry but East Kilbride is an Industrial Nightmare.
I'm sorry but East Kilbride is an Industrial Nightmare. The worst concrete , soulless place I have been to for a long time. The "HUB" is a disaster, the most horrible shopping precinct ever designed.
"The Village was OK but just"
The people seem to have the world on their shoulders.
Dreary and drab.

A good nights sleep, isn't that why you stay in a hotel?
A good nights sleep, isn't that why you stay in a hotel? Matress completely unacceptable. Wrong room on arrival offered a twin to push together ( on our anniversary) couldn't believe what we were hearing. It then took the best part of 3 hours to find us a room which made us miss our reservation for the restaurant we had booked in advance.
All being said the staff were very nice, just not educated enough on hospitality. Speaking from experience as a general manager at a high end hotel.
I will most certainly not be recommending anyone else to use holiday inn east kilbride!
It spoiled our whole stay if I'm to be brutally honest, especially the mattress.
As for breakfast 🙄 first morning we were told to quickly grab what we wanted as they were clearing it away, but that was just before 9am when it should be served until 9.30am

The EK covered shopping area is very run down and has lots of empty shop units again increasing the feeling of neglect. only a few places left to get a hot meal so choice very limited. I ate 5 times at the Wetherspoons pub so by the 4th night my choices were becoming limited.

Really spacious suite with great facilities. Plenty of room for leisure within bars and communal areas. Staff made me feel welcome. Exceptionally pet (dog) friendly with enough space for pets not to interfere with other guests. Nice breakfast and evening meal. Couldn't have been better. I stayed in many nice hotels over a three week period in Scotland and Northern England. This was by far the best and it wasn't the most expensive either. Full marks. The staff were great.
A charming hotel, well located in a pretty village on the outskirts of Glasgow. It’s served our needs perfectly. Our bedroom and particular the bed was very comfortable and well appointed and despite being a wedding venue and two weddings taking place on the weekend of our visit. We were not disturbed by other guests.
The food in the hotel was good- had dinner and breakfast and both were good. The room had plenty of space. There was a safe, ironing board and hairdryer in the room. The mattress itself was really really comfortable. TV in the room too with some channels.
Good facilities, within hotel not far from shopping centre, taxi driver very chatty friendly. Lovely pool, jacuzzi, steam room clean and tidy. Friendly helpful staff
