Very clean and super helpful friendly staff. Although they did not have a full kitchen offered to put up a gas hob on next visit if needed

Location was excellent and the room was beautiful with such a great view. Staff were very helpful and friendly.
The elemental nature of Portland is unparalleled. Easton was a highlight, and the eclecticism of Fortuneswell must not be missed. Add to that the fact that you can see the sea at almost every turn and you have the perfect holiday location

Portland is lovely, I have been coming since a child, unfortunately the bus service outside of the pensyvania estate isn't great, you have to walk a fair way to the number 1 bus stop which has a regular service,if you have walking issues this isn't great.

I was born in Portland and the purpose of the visit was to see family so I am very familiar with the island but there are some beautiful places of interest in and around the island. Even if you do not wish to drive there is a very good public service and also trains

Portland was easy to get to on the bus (No 1) from the train station. There is a stop just over the road but not clearly marked, you can pick up the bus from the Kings Head Statue as well ( walk down to the seafront , turn right and it’s the last bus stop).
Portland was interesting with different scenery for our walk, which included Portland Bill and old quarries. Our visit was Monday / Tuesday evening and we had no car. I would suggest booking a restaurant/ pub if you want to eat on Portland. The Cove House Inn ( closed Monday ) and the Little Ship ( closed Tuesday) are good options. We took the bus to Weymouth Harbour ( get off at the Magistrates Court stop), there are lots of eating places and nice for a walk round.

unusual place with a mixture of terrain .
unusual place with a mixture of terrain . The beach is quite something on a sunny day and well worth a visit along with the Portland Bill lighthouse where we were lucky enough to see a Seal . I would certainly recommend a visit which also has the benefit of Weymouth a 10-15 minute drive away. Local People we spoke to seemed genuinely funny and helpful.

A superb apartment. Everything I needed. An interesting converted ex MOD building with full view of the sea and Portland Bill. Dishwasher, Washing Machine. Coffee maker. Wide screen TV. Netflix. A home from home. The neighbours who live there all year round were really nice people.
The room was white, crisp and clean. The manager and staff were great as ever. Hotel Aqua is my go-to choice when diving or kayaking around Portland. It's convenient for Osprey Marina and there's a slip to launch your kayak just 70m away.
Breakfast was better than expected. I thought it was continental, but there were cooked options so a bonus! I got lucky with the parking nearby, however not sure parking is very easy in the area. The Co-op and chippy nearby was handy!
Location was perfect, beautiful garden, comfortable feel with plenty of flexible sleeping accommodation, generally well-equipped and practical kitchen with a lovely aspect. Easy access to wonderful locations in Portland.
