We chose Gogarstone Cottage to be near the airport for our departure. It is an old cottage that has been renovated. The house is quite quirky but fun. It is not at all fancy but it was clean and sufficiently appointed. The beds are small but very comfortable. It was chilly but space heaters were provided and they easily did the trick.

An 8-minute drive from Edinburgh Airport, ibis Budget Hotel Edinburgh Park lies just off the City of Edinburgh Bypass and 30 minutes’ walk from Edinburgh Park Train Station.

Clean, close to the old town (25-39 min walk) and a lot more affordable than other options in Edinburgh. The room and bathroom was very clean. Staff very friendly.
