Edinburgh is a very historic city but has a very modern aspects to it. So much to see and do from the theatre to the stand comedy store. The castle is worth a visit but really busy on the day we attended. Looks of different cuisines. Very nice town .
Very nice town . If visiting by car then I recommend using the bus as parking in town and at the castle will be difficult ,You can catch a number 23 bus from just opposite the Brig O Doon guest house .I also recomend a visit to the Royal Yatch Britannia .I think that there is free parking ,but I walked .I also reccomend a boat trip on the Firth of Forth from to Inchcolm Island .Guest review byAlanUnited Kingdom - Review score

Edinburgh is a wonderful city and there is so much to see and do.My heart lifts when I get off the train at Waverley station.I like to come back at least once a year.The Mussel Inn is my place to go on my first evening there and Chaoparya to meet my friends and take them there.CLARINDA’s on the Royal mile near Holyrood palace for breakfast and amazing cakes..Pier place at New haven is worth a trip on the tram for fish or lobster.I could go on for longer ✅Guest review byAnonymousUnited Kingdom

The staff were so helpful and friendly and the accommodation was stunning. Everything was so clean and comfortable.
