So much to see!
So much to see! If you love history and castles, this is definitely a place to visit! We were only there for a day and a half. We were able to see all the sights on the Royal Mile, but we did not get to go into them. That would have take all our time. So, if you want to actually explore the castle, palace, kirks, parliament, etc., you will need a much longer visit.Guest review byAnonymous - Review score

Edinburgh is a very historic city but has a very modern aspects to it. So much to see and do from the theatre to the stand comedy store. Very nice town .
Very nice town . If visiting by car then I recommend using the bus as parking in town and at the castle will be difficult ,You can catch a number 23 bus from just opposite the Brig O Doon guest house .I also recomend a visit to the Royal Yatch Britannia .I think that there is free parking ,but I walked .I also reccomend a boat trip on the Firth of Forth from to Inchcolm Island .Guest review byAlanUnited Kingdom - Review score

The staff were so helpful and friendly and the accommodation was stunning. Everything was so clean and comfortable. When we had a problem, they sorted it straight away and ensured we had the best stay possible. It's an hour's walk from the city centre, but there are no problems with transport. But we discovered non-touristy Edinburgh, full of great and inexpensive pubs and restaurants.
