I didn't normally like hot tubs but this one is basically a big outdoor bath that you refill each time, so it was very clean. There are only 4 lodges and they are well spaced out so you didn't feel overlooked. There were a couple of board games there. Lovely walking/ cycling trails around Balcarres estate, golfing next to property, beds comfortable, fast stable wifi (always important to the kids), log burner and hot tub were fun additions. The place had plenty space but that was just for the 2 of us. I can imagine if you have a family you would maybe struggle with living space (seating and kitchen works top space) But it is exactly as it is in the pictures! We had a really lovely time away to Elie and got to see some stunning views with visiting the beach, seeing ladies tower, the lighthouse. Lovely little place!Guest review bySandraYoung couple

I will post some photos showing you our morning sunrise 🌅 view. Harper our dog loved the open land too.
