Just an outstanding experience. From the welcome to the ultra-luxe setup. Even the online check in was thoughtfully curated. The rooftop restaurant staff were brilliant and the vibe of the whole venue blew me away.

The reception was very friendly and kind to my questions and inquiries, The town was full of film making for spiderman, so there were so many road closures which made me stranded. they were nice to explain to me earlier about the closures. The hotel has a laundry service including dryer. it was great and convenient. The weather in Glasgow was fairly hot. I was sweating while walking under the sunshine.

Really enjoyed our stay! My partner and I travelled all over Scotland and this hotel was just what we needed to end our trip! Super close to the bus stop that takes you to the city centre. Room was very modern and spacious and bed was super comfortable! We had a car with us and there is a car park right around the corner of the hotel which we found very convenient. Would highly recommend if you're coming to Glasgow! Super worth the money :)

Everything was perfect very kind service huge, clean room with all you can need well adapted power sockets for the people from EU huge tv beautiful view from the window classy, modern interior design felt truly like a 4 star hotel should big, very comfortable bed a lot of space for personal things sooo close to OVO Hydro, which was the main point of our trip close to the beautiful Clyde River great hotel restaurant with kind service and very good meals, especially i recommend to try haggis! nice, big bathroom

Glasgow is a great city to visit whether for shopping...

Glasgow is a great city to visit whether for shopping culture food or sightseeing. It is very easy to get around on public transport. We were attending the Scottish National MOD at the Glasgow Concert Hall. We also went to the National Trust Tenement House on Buccleuch Street definitely worth a visit. And Kelvingrove Museum which is free to enter. Great art on display. There is a cafe, restaurant toilets and gift shops.

So easy to get round Glasgow on the Hop On/Off Bus. Everywhere in walking distance, or use the above . Restaurants - lots of choices, bars or pubs -(pubs) were buzzing ,some had entertainment - musical duos/groups, most entertaining and not loud. Folk queing to get in!! Shopping - thought I was in Bond Street, London . All the designer shops there, Hamleys (Toy Shop) Sorry no (H)Arrods !!!!!!!

Listen, Glasgow has a bad rep amongst people on holiday; however, as an Iriah man, I have travelled to this great city on numerous ocasions and i love every moment in Glasgow. Great place to go; yes, it has problems, where doesn't. People are friendly; that's all that matters.

Glasgow has very old buildings, the university area, the cathedral etc.. but also some very down trodden ones. You can go from a dump of an area which looks like it has suffered from bomb damage to an area which is very modern. The circular underground system is small but a good experience.

I had a very limited sample, but I didn’t love staying in Glasgow or that neighborhood. They’re just weren’t really any good restaurants right on the street. But it was a convenient walk to most things. I happened to prefer Edinburgh more but I know plenty of people feel different differently.

It's a city with lots going on and gift shops are not the top commercial establishments. Very walkable. The malls would be awesome for shoppers - with a huge selection of name brands and the sites of interest are wonderful. Cabs are plentiful. The restaurants were outstanding (Maloccio) and embrace solo travellers. the older buildings, the cathedral and st mungo's museum are full of history and easy to find. Loved the murals. I wish that i had time to visit Kelvin Grove and Finneston Crane and the River Clyde. My time was cut short by significant train delays

Whole hotel was clean, staff were helpful and friendly. We would definitely return.

Great location for access to the city centre. The hotel allows you to drop off bags before check-in time which we found really helpful. The entrance to the hotel is beautiful and welcoming. Good customer service from staff on the check-in desk. Our room had a large, comfortable bed with a good view of Glasgow Central Station. A very clean hotel. It definitely had the Royal feeling to it.

The location and the facilities it offered, this is a fantastic place particularly for students and working travellers. We've stayed in many a hotel but this place offers something different, we only stayed 1 night but the facilities it offers is great and will definitely use again when staying in Glasgow City centre.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Clayton, our first time here and we were knocked out by it. Spotless and good sized room, excellent bar and the breakfast was 10/10. This will be our go to hotel for future Glasgow trips as it's so handy for the pubs and restaurants in the city centre.
