Featuring 3-star accommodation, Camelot Retreat - Tor View is situated in Glastonbury, 40 km from Longleat Safari Park and 43 km from Oldfield Park Train Station.

We had a lovely stay at the Camelot Retreat – Egyptian Room with a unique touch. Izzie was a warm host, always happy to help with a smile. She kindly accommodated our early check-in and late checkout, and even held our luggage so we could explore the town stress-free. There was a good breakfast spread, with multiple plant-based options to choose from. The dining area was a lovely space to connect with other guests, and there was a beautiful and peaceful crystal room and a handy little library. Izzie was a total superhost, offering local maps, curated suggestions for attractions, coffee spots, dining, and even cab contacts, which came handy. . We’d absolutely stay again when we return to the enchanting town of fairy and Avalon!

Amazing property. Everything was immaculate and tidy and the location couldn’t have been better for visiting the Abbey less than 5 minutes from the town Center. The bedroom is at the rear so lovely and quite despite being on a main pedestrian route.

The Chalice Well Gardens are worth a visit, Lots to see and do the Tor, the Abbey - check out the complimentary therapies at the Goddess House. MItre Inn had a lovely meal and reasonably priced. King Arthurs Inn you can have a drink and order a take away!! A place where everyone and everything is okay. There on a Monday check out the church on the high street - community at its best..

    Glastonbury is an amazing place.

Glastonbury is an amazing place. Lots of, some people might call ‘wacky’ shops, selling holistic items, lovely homemade goods and watch out for fairies. There is a great mural trail around the town and many coffee shops to discover. Recommend climbing up to the Tor - if I can do it on my 70th birthday any one can, just takes a bit of effort! Some excellent eateries, GF, vegetarian and vegan aswell as meat eaters all taken care of. Enjoy the adventure of finding your favourite.

Plenty to do, CHalice well, Glastonbury Abbey, the Tor and more....... Lovely individual shops, a great bookstore (well more than one!) and an abundance of places to eat. Faro (5* amazing breakfasts), 100 Monkeys, again amazing food. Regularly visit 3-4 times a year at least, never disappointed.

Glastonbury is a must visit town in Somerset. We especially liked the Abbey and spent a lot of time there. We had an evening meal in The Mitre pub diner. It was really great and we would recommend you pay it at least one visit.

Property is a lovely old Manor House with lots of character. So if you are expecting a purpose built modern hotel with no soul, this is not for you. It is set in a peaceful village 5 mins from Glastonbury. Lovely view from our room at the back of the property. Slept really well as no traffic noise. Hosts were friendly and professional. Breakfast choice was very good and would recommend mushrooms on toast if you are vegetarian. Husband had bacon toastie with bacon good perfectly. Parking on site out the front makes carrying bags in easy.
