Our room, and ensuite, were very spacious. We had views over the town to the countryside. The room was very quiet. Breakfast was delivered promptly and was delicious. Our host was very friendly and helpful. The Hotel is right in the centre of this historic town.

Beautiful property and grounds near the river and close to Dryburgh Abbey. We had a spacious, luxurious room with a sitting area with a view of the river. The bathroom has a long bathtub. The hotel has a bar and restaurant with outdoor sitting options.

Jedburgh is a lovely town and we visited the Thistle & Tweed shop on the High Street which we cannot recommend highly enough.
There is also a lovely little florist and the young lady who helped us with a bouquet and also arranged some irises for us to leave at our Dad's grave was so helpful.

Lovely little market town where we normally just break our journey up to Aberdeen. It was nice to spend a little bit longer even though it's now the 'off season'. Lovely surroundings - it would seem there's a lot to do around there in Spring/Summer. Also some nice restaurants - especially Bella Sicily.

Plenty to see all within easy walking distance in this small town. Good choice of eating out, even on a Sunday evening. There is also a good selection of independent shops and small businesses in the centre.

Lovely apartment, felt more like a cottage.
Lovely apartment, felt more like a cottage.
Everyone in Jedburgh were friendly and helpful.
Plenty of shops, gift shops, bars and restaurants and places of interest, also near to other places to visit ie. Kelso, Hawick and a bit further Edinburgh.
All car parks in Jedburgh are free which is a huge bonus.
The river walk is very relaxing.
The Allerton is located right in Jedburgh within walking distance of the Abby and dining locations. The suite we had included a bedroom, a small kitchen area, a sitting room, and a bathroom with a shower and heated towel rack. The breakfast was what you would expect from and highly rated guest house. It was prepared extremely well. You sit at individual tables with your room name on a label for your table. The coffee comes in a French press and is excellent. We would stay here again should we ever have a reason to come back to Jedburgh.
the apartment had everything: a well appointed and equipped kitchen; it was light and airy: the views of the village/township were stunning; plenty of parking and the area was extremely quiet. The apartment was in easy walking distance of the township , cafes, shops and restaurants. The walk was across a lovely pedestrian bridge. Susan, the host was incredibly helpful and responsive. Would definitely recommend this apartment and Jedburgh as a place to stay.
the breakfast was great, there was homemade honey. although I was unable to have a full breakfast because I was leaving so early in the mornings, they were able to accommodate and give me a croissant. the cold breakfast was always laid out. the room was beautiful with amazing wallpaper (stag heads), it included plenty of amenities. HH is very close to Jedburgh with plenty of shops and restaurants.
Great apartment, great location, loved Scotland, easy to find, easy to park, everything that you need is nearby, the locals were so friendly, our first time in Scotland and Jedburgh is top of my list to visit again. As Scotland is such a big country I thought we can make this our first stop for a few nights each time we visit Scotland and visit deeper into this amazing country.
The hotel fitted our requirements for a one night stay in Jedburgh. We did not use the onsite restaurant facility as we wanted to eat out, but the menu and venue looked reasonable. They did not have staff to offer breakfast in the dining room but the hotel provided a small fridge in the room and supplied juice, cereal, fruit and croissant. Which worked for us.
The house is beautiful, in a lovely isolated location but sufficiently close to Jedburgh for food. The room was very comfortable and the shower very good. Breakfast was served in the most wonderful room with an open fire which Sheila lit despite there being only two of us there.
All in all a very good experience
Beautiful house, had a twin and a double (upgraded!) room and both were very clean and comfortable and a good size, with a little kitchen area in each room. The hospitality was second to none & there was a lovely breakfast. Definitely will be staying again when we come back to Jedburgh.
Spotless hotel right in the middle of Jedburgh, a few minutes walk from the abbey and a great kids play park. Staff were very friendly and helpful, rooms were very comfortable and cooked breakfast was gorgeous. Cannot fault anything with this hotel!
Clearly a lot of love, time and effort out into this little place. Was clean, beautiful set out and extremely comfortable. Dog friendly, our pooch was super comfortable. Jackie was so friendly and welcoming. Really felt at home during our stay.
Margaret was very, very helpful and very welcoming. We enjoyed our chat and used her knowledge of the area. Nothing was a bother for her.
Breakfast was wonderful, best B and B breakfast we have had.
House was warm and cozy on cold night.
The breakfast was excellent, good choice, with homemade marmalade. The house is a short walk from the town centre of Jedburgh making dining out easy and walkable. Use of super covered outdoor area available for own carry-out food.
Beautiful location, quiet, peaceful manor house. Only 2 rooms for guests in a separate wing of the house. Breakfast room also lovely with sitting area and views of the pond and adjoining farm fields.
Charming hosts! Full English breakfast! Location was in the heart of town and nearby to the Jedburgh Abbey. Ideal for a weekend getaway. We were sorry to have to miss the upcoming festival.
We both loved the fact that it was so clean and well kept in such a beautiful area. The owner was nice when they handed us the keys and showed us round the property.
