Location good. Welcome pack very kind and generous we had everything we needed. Also the later check out time was brilliant! We were able to have a lay in both days. We will definitely be back and will recommend to ever. Loved the quirky pictures and wall lights in living room!

    Quiet area in the hillside.

Quiet area in the hillside. Olivia helpfulness and good communication throughout our stay. Her generosity in providing milk, tea, butter, treats etc. The warm, cosy, beautifully decorated apartment. Comfortable beds. Spotless space. Wonderful views. Lots of intersting information leaflets on the local area and guided walks.

Hotel owners have done a fine job, re-vamping this hotel. While the fishing port seems to be vibrant and busy the town overall looks neglected with buildings in need of refurbishment and very poor street surfaces. The town needs some good restaurants to showcase its rich fish heritage and activities to keep visitors in the town.

Moving around Kilkeel is very easy.

Moving around Kilkeel is very easy. Most things are within walking distance. I really recommend the local fish and chips and the seaside area. Also there are lots of hiking areas in close proximity (silent valley, narrow water castle).

We visit friends in Kilkeel, it is a lovely little town with a good choice of places to eat, we especially like Cunninghams. Asda and Eurospar for groceries. Ideally situated for walking in Mourne Mountains or getting the Carlingford Ferry across to Eire.

Kilkeel is a short drive from the property and has lots of shops, pubs & eatries. We visited Newcastle which is a lot bigger and also visited The Silent valley which is just beautiful and would highly recommend the countryside and mountains around the whole of this area are stunning.

Great location for exploring the Mournes and nearby Carlingford. Difficult to socialise due to government restrictions but everyone we met was really friendly. Felt much safer here than in other nearby towns.

Fantastic 2 night stay at Samona. Beautiful country location but few mins drive to Kilkeel main street, Uel was a great host, made us feel very welcome and made a fantastic breakfast. We opted to use the hot tub which was so worth the extra £15 per person per stay, it's in a great location on the top floor balcony with an amazing view.

Great location just outside of Kilkeel centre. Quiet area, 1 minute walk down to the beach. Refurbished and very clean. Lovely big back garden, views with lots of parking to front and side of house. Very comfy beds. Large kitchen and living area and another separate living room and games room. Very helpful hosts for any queries. 10/10

This is a beautiful country B&B, the location is great just 4mins out of Kilkeel, breakfast was great with local produce and Gareth and Emma are lovely hosts. This was our second visit to MCH and hope to be back again, I would highly recommend this accommodation, close to the sea and the mountains.
