This hotel was so wonderful I stayed and extra two nights. The owner of the hotel and all the staff were so helpful and friendly. I felt completely at ease and looked after from the time I walked in the door. The hotel is situated next to a loch and canal (excellent for a stroll) and I had a beautiful view over the water and across to a castle on the further shore. The bed was so comfortable, the breakfast was excellent (served in a room overlooking the water), and there were two lounge areas with comfortable seating where you could sit and chat or read a book in complete comfort. The service was excellent without being at all intrusive and someone was always available if you had a question or wanted some local knowledge. And I have to mention the food in the restaurant. It was so good. Their specialty was local seafood and every dish was excellent. I highly recommend this hotel.

They were very friendly, and great hosts! A lovely basket of breakfast choices and fruit was there when we entered. The small space is nicely divided and decorated in a charming way. The beds are comfortable. Don’t forget to duck when going through the hobbit door!

It’s well located less than a minute from the main street and loch. The room was an excellent size, breakfast and off road parking were great. Jim & Ele made us fresh coffee for our flasks.

Wonderful stay. Pod contained everything you would need. Great location, close to Lochgilphead, Ardrishaig, Crinan, Tayvallich. Restaurant / pub 2 minutes walk. Sheep grazing over the fence at the back. Standing stones within 2-3 miles. And the owners, Andrew and Iona, are friendly, engaging and available next door, if needed. Perfect.

This is a small B&B with great views.

This is a small B&B with great views. You are met with a warm friendly Scottish welcome. Lyn is very helpful and knowledgeable about the local area. We recommend the Crinan Hotel for fabulous food any time of the day. Best to start your exploring at the Kilmartin Museum. Then buy the guidebook and plan from there!

Great location - be even better when the local museum opens...

Great location - be even better when the local museum opens again after refurbishment. Staff very warm and friendly. Food was wholesome and great service. The hotel would benefit greatly from refurbishment/ upgrading.

The village has a museum, but it's currently closed.

The village has a museum, but it's currently closed. Nearby is a fort from bygone days, offering a fantastic view of the surrounding landscape. Overall, it's a great area for hiking enthusiasts.
