The property was absolutely stunning. Views to die for! Lovely location and the facilities were outstanding. The owner really goes the extra mile to make you comfortable. Cleaning standards very high. Plenty of space. Stunning kitchen and there is a lovely chippy nearby called George's which is a 5 minute drive. Located next to a doggy training centre so it was lovely to see all the dogs every morning. It was so peaceful.

What guests said about Lincolnshire:

Scored out of 10, guest rating 10

Lincoln as a city is just outstanding.

Lincoln as a city is just outstanding. The cathedral is surely one of the best in the world, and the staff and guides were excellent. It wasn't crowded, even on a warm day in August. Opposite the cathedral was the castle, which is also worth a visit. Great views from the walls, although parts are currently closed. The prison is very interesting and the chapel within has to be seen to be believed !. The shops around these two attractions were outstanding. A varied collection of independent traders, all of whom seemed to be doing good business. This is what high streets should look like...free of mass coffee shops and charity shops. Plenty of great places to eat and drink at all price levels from basic tea and cake cafes to Michelin standard restaurants..the Jews House being the pinnacle of dinning in the city. Staff in all these places actually looked like they wanted to be there, which is not the norm in most high streets these days. Good, friendly service all round. The wine and book shop are both very good and highly recommended. Plenty of good parking close by, and this has got to be one of the best places in the UK for a short city break. Minimum 2 days, but 3 or more would be ideal.

Great area for anyone with an interest in aviation or military history as a lot of WW2 airbases were in Lincolnshire and there are many museums , places of interest and the Bomber Command memorial. Aside from that Lincolnshire offers some great pubs and dining experiences in some really scenic idylls

Would highly recommend Lincoln for a long weekend.

Would highly recommend Lincoln for a long weekend. The city is just beautiful and castle and catherdral are just stunning. Plenty of places to eat and drink and a lovely shopping area. The only downside is the steep road leading away from the castle and not recommended if you have mobility issues or any young children that are in prams. Extremely difficuty to walk up and down it.

Have lived in Lincolnshire for a few years now.

Have lived in Lincolnshire for a few years now. Would recommend a visit. Cathedral interesting. Can walk down Steep Hill - an old cobbled street, very steep, from the cathedral to the steps. Seaside pleasant with sandy beaches and shopping areas in Skegness, Mablethorpe, Louth, Spilsby. Some quaint villages and lots of countryside. Should definitely visit.

Great shops and restaurants. The cathedral is exceptional with great tours. Our visit to the Bomber Command memorial gardens and museum was very moving as well as informative. A lovely short break for my wife and I.

I hadn't been to Lincoln before and was really looking forward to seeing the Cathedral, Castle, narrow streets with interesting shops, and finding out about the history. I was not disappointed and could easily have spent more time here. Two days was not enough. The guided tour of the Cathedral is definitely worth doing and the Castle Wall Walk affords great views. Great eateries as well. I would particularly recommend Ole Ole Tapas and the White Horse pub for their fantastic Sunday lunch.
