We stayed in a Lodge which was absolutely beautiful. 2 rooms 2 bathrooms to high standard. It had everything you needed with additional welcome tea coffee milk and board games. Smart TV and Wine Cooler great.
Staff very helpful and friendly. Lovely to see the Peacocks and other birds. Beautiful Location and easy reach to towns, fuel stations. Our son loved the Mustangs in the car park.
We wish we could of stayed longer. We will definitely be back. Highly recommend.

Spacious and well equipped
Clean and cosy
Location was a little noisy from the street but wasn’t a problem - they provided ear plugs light sleepers
Only thing that could be better was the blinds in the bedroom as the light came in.
There was more room for bigger families too so would recommend it to families.
Was very good value for money

It was close to local attractions but a tranquil place to relax within the grounds of the manor.

Liskeard is strategically placed to explore parts of Devon and Cornwall. We paid for a week parking near train station and catch train to different places everyday. Very convenient. The town centre itself has nothing to offer though which is a shame.

Liskeard is great because slightly inland and therefore a little cheaper. A great base for exploring that beautiful part of Cornwall.
Close proximity to Looe, Polperro, Mevagissey, St. Austell and many more interesting things to explore.
A car is essential

The Liskeard / Bodmin Moor area makes for an ideal base for exploring the north and south coasts of the area. Places such as Padstow and Doc Martin’s Port Issac to the north and Mevagissy, Looe and Fowey to the south. Wonderful countryside surrounds you in the Mini’s Cottage location. From there, Jamaica Inn is just a short drive away.

We stayed here a year and a half ago just as the new owners were taking over and the place has been transformed. Lovely clean room with a complementary bottle of wine which was a lovely extra. We had dinner and drinks in the restaurant which was very tasty and really good value for money and it had a lovely atmosphere with a cosy wood burning fire. We opted for a rate with breakfast which again was fantastic with great quality ingredients and my daughter loved the hot chocolate. Would definitely recommend and we will definitely be back.

Have stayed at this site many times and have found egress from the site can be risky. We leave the site by turning left, do a U turn at next junction on right, then join traffic with good site in wing mirror.
We eat at several different outlets. Trelawney Garden Centre near Wadebridge recommended as is Trago Mills.

It is a central location which makes it a good base to explore from. We didn't actually visit the town but drove to the Eden Project, Tintagel, Lost Gardens of Heligan, Polperro, St Austell etc. The local roads are narrow and winding, it takes ages to get anywhere, and you have to reverse a lot back to passing places on single track roads! We are vegetarian and found it easy to find really good places to eat. I recommend visiting Olive and Co at Sibleyback lake.

Rachel and Steve were fabulous hosts and gave us lots of recommendations of where to visit during our stay. The bungalow annexe itself had a secure garden which was great for our dog. There was a fully equipped kitchen with top of the range appliances. The bed was very comfortable and it was very quiet at night for a good nights sleep. The location meant that it was the perfect base to explore Cornwall. We enjoyed it so much that we tried to extend our stay however, unfortunately it was fully booked.
Good location hotel, We stayed in a large room at the front of the hotel which was very clean and comfortable.
Great breakfast in the morning. We stayed on a wednesday night and the pub/restaurant wasn't open, the breakfast was provided free the next morning though.
Beautiful Lodge in a peaceful rural area of Liskeard, well equipped and maintained, staff contacted us prior and during the stay which was nice. Hot tub was lovely, we had a lovely few days and would definitely return
Perfect location for the train station to travel and explore Cornwall, very comfortable room, the hosts Ted and Sue were absolutely lovely and will definitely be returning 😀
