Lovely friendly people, lots to see and do, we were there for Bruce Springsteen. We did a canal trip, Mersey ferry, Beatles tour. Some fabulous architecture especially The Anglican Cathedral, absolutely magnificent building.

Liverpool is bustling.
Liverpool is bustling. Great music scene as to be expected but something for everyone. The modern dockyards are a triumph and the council has worked hard to support flourishing businesses when so many other councils work in opposition of small and medium business. Apart from the beggars the city is alive with charitable outlooks for everyone.

Thoroughly enjoyed Liverpool, lots to see and do.
Friendly people -except for a taxi driver who took us the long way round & tried to overcharge us, but that could happen anywhere. We will be back, hopefully when the weather is better & hotel rooms are cheaper ( I realise it’s to do with supply & demand). Loved Anfield Stadium.

Our first visit and we will return!
Our first visit and we will return! So many really good restaurants and bars in several vibrant areas. Lots and lots of shopping opportunities and plenty of history places to visit.
We travelled by train and found this the best way as parking anywhere in the city centre looked very difficult and expensive. Several train stations around the city and also a very good bus service.
Top restaurants - Il Forno (great food and service) and Salt House Tapas (ditto)

We really enjoyed the Magical Mystery Beatles tour, it was much better than expected and our enthusiastic guide made it really interesting. When he wasn't talking he played Beatles songs and we were all singing. It was really interesting to tour the Beatles birthplaces and get an overview of different districts of Liverpool. We were really impressed by the cleanliness of all the streets. We finished the trip at the Cavern club and we enjoyed visiting this for free with our tour ticket.
We loved the Albert Dock and the walk from here to the Liver building but didn't have time to go to the top of the Liver building. We ate each evening in different restaurants in the Albert Dock. We enjoyed the Thai and then the Indian food. There was a lovely shopping centre in the city near to the Cavern Club. We took a river cruise across the Mersey and had fantastic views of Liverpool from the boat. Our final visit was to the beautiful Anglican cathedral. Well worth a visit as is the Catholic cathedral which I have visited before.

This hotel is amazing! There aren’t many good hotels in the city centre of Liverpool. Novotel is honestly amazing value for money !. Great location and hotel room was spacious and comfy. Mirrors in the rooms are great to capture your outfit pic before heading out 😂! Utilities were very good also. Hair dryer wasn’t a cheap crappy one either !
Gary the night manager is such a lovely man. He was very kind to me and cousin while we stayed in the hotel. He is such a gent and was very caring.
The staff were really friendly during check-in and check out. The room was really lovely. Very clean and spacious with an amazing view of the docks. We didn't use the bar or restaurant facilities while staying here but the hotel was really close to the city centre, Albert Docks, the museums and a stone throw away from some local pubs and McDonald's. Really enjoyed my stay here would recommend for anyone exploring Liverpool.
I stayed at this Radison Blu Hotel in Liverpool for one night. The room was very large with a large double bed. The room was very clean and the location close to all ammenties and city centre, including the Albert Docks. Free wi-fi too, which was very fast and really good.
Right in the city centre. Cheap multi storey car park opposite. Staff friendly and helpful. Hotel, room and bathroom clean and comfortable. Its not a 5 star hotel, but its a great place to stay.
