Location for the Philharmonic Hall - just across the road. Good eateries and pubs nearby - abit out of town but in a great quiet location and very handy for what we wanted . Would stay again. Very comfy small hotel, spotless and friendly staff. Just ten minutes walk into the centre. Arrived from Lime Street Station and ten minutes to hotel to store our bags as too early for check in. Quirky student area and very close to Catholic Cathedral which is worth a visit.

I booked hospitality at Anfield for a pre-season game, on reflection we should have travelled up on the day of the match and spared the expense of an overnight hotel and meal out at one of the distinctly average waterfront eateries. I'm sure Liverpool has lots to offer but the trip revolved around my 1st visit to Anfield, the highlight of the weekend

Liverpool is great loads to do.

Liverpool is great loads to do. Shopping is amazing and loads of choice for restaurants. Lots of things to do and sightseeing. Bit disappointed that the slavery museum was closed as i wanted to take the kids. We did go to the other museum and the kids had fun. As we had the kids they wanted to go to a popular toy store called 'toys toys toys' where they could buy all their squishes. An then they wanted to try spudbros in the main liverpool centre, well that was amazing worth ever penny. overall it was a great weekend and its always a great time when we go liverpool

Albert's Schoss was perfect for breakfast.

Albert's Schoss was perfect for breakfast. Not crowded and the food looked and tasted incredible. Want to come back and experience their nightlife as the bar was stocked and the decor unique. We had dinner at Salt and the food was delicious with the tastes bursting. Staff so attentive and helpful. Went for an after dinner drink at St Peter's Church. The renovations maintained the solemnity of the church while opening it up to more guests. We walked around the Beatles area, the waterfront and the shopping areas. Only stayed a day and could have wandered around longer as we hadn't even touched on the historic buildings.

The choice of eateries in the area was excellent.

The choice of eateries in the area was excellent. The bus system very good also for getting around. We did a city tour on an open top bus and it was excellent. Gave us plenty suggestions of places to visit more closely. Recommend Lark Lane & Sefton park for a good day out! Food at Big Bowl on Berry st in Chinatown was fabulous!

Building architecture is interesting and historic. Only disappointment was Liverpool One shops are very expensive with no middle price range .

The location of the hotel is excellent with access to the docks and the city centre a few minutes walk away. The Liverpool One shopping centre is literally on its doorstep. The reception staff were very friendly, polite and helpful, assisting us to leave luggage prior to checking in and after checking out. The bed was very comfortable and we both had a great sleep. The room was spotless and the bathroom and shower was excellent.

Hotel is in an excellent location..I was over for a Liverpool game...hotel in nice as you walk into the main hall but rooms really show their age. It was clean but very old.. perfect for someone just needing a bed for the night in city centre that doesn't want to go to a hostel or a cheap air BnB.. would highly recommend.. breakfast was accepted
