Check in very efficient and helpful staff when I wanted to leave my bags early in the morning. Initial slow wait on later check in for the porter to show me to my room. He showed a way which seemed simple but on trying to return to reception the signage was poor and the hotel is a maze on many different mezzanine levels. A simple sign to the door leading to the courtyard would have made the trip back easier. Despite the room being above the pub and adjacent to a main road it was quiet and comfortable. Bed extremely comfortable. Somehow managed to hit an electronic sign which showed the room was not ready to be serviced and therefore not serviced for the day - this was not obvious so requires team to point it out. Breakfast was adequate with good choice. A second specialist coffee machine would help to reduce waits. We ate one night in "The Jugged Hare" - pub attached to the hotel - and food was excellent. 5 minutes walk from Moorfields tube/Elizabeth Line from Heathrow.

London is a great place to visit.

London is a great place to visit. It's an original colonizer country so you have lots of interesting things to experience in the city itself (i.e. things the British have stolen from other places and brought back). People are pretty friendly compared to the rest of Europe. Once you've seen all the standard fare (Tower of London, Westminster, Big Ben, etc.) I recommend doing some things that are more off the beaten path. First, see a show at the Royal Albert Hall if you can. We were lucky and found a band playing that we really loved. The venue is a bargain for what you get. I highly recommend the Borough Market but only during off peak hours (which may not exist actually). You can take a train almost anywhere so I'd go see the seaside areas, check out the house boats, etc. I really dislike all the family-oriented tourist stuff like the London Eye, and the whole O2 center is just gross capitalist garbage. It's just a mall built around a concert arena--I wouldn't bother. One thing that many might not know about is the option to hire out a London Cab driver who can take you on a tour of the city. These guys know where everything is (because they have "The Knowledge") and can take you to spots that you probably couldn't get to on your own. If you can find a cab for hire definitely do it. The driver's are also incredible people--the most friendly you'll find anywhere.

Our party consisted of an all female group of 4; 2 seniors, an 11 yr old, and a middle-aged adult. Our favorite take-away from our London visit was Service. Every shop, attraction, and restaurant we visited provided above and beyond service. The city's service is exemplary for other major cities, they took food allergies very seriously, which was a nice relief for someone that may have a lot of food allergies. We stayed 5 nights in Kensington near Earl's Court and 1 night in Victoria. We walked a lot in Kensington, Victoria, a little bit in the City of London, and SOHO - we loved them all and can't wait to return to explore more of the city. We took bus, Metro, black Taxi, and private car. The Metro was clean and safe. I definitely recommend it as it is your cheapest and fastest option. The public bus are fun, especially if you get the front row on the second floor. Sit back and enjoy the city street views. The black Taxis are spacious and the drivers were very helpful and nice. These can get pricey so only use when you are carrying luggage. It is a very family friendly and safe city, although I will not return to the Big Ben area or Oxford Street. Too crowded and a pick pocket's dream corners. I was not impressed with Selfridges or Marks and Spencer but we did love Harrods - especially the biscuit cookies (they did not make it home for souvenirs). We flew into Heathrow airport and out of Gatwick airport. Gatwick is nicer but much further. We also took the Eurostar to Paris and back. The Eurostar ride was one of our favorite experiences of the trip. The food was great everywhere.

    The location was very good.

The location was very good. Although we were close to Leicester Square the street was very quiet and sheltered and it was hard to believe we were so close to busy Leicester Square & china Town. We are both artists so being close to the National Gallery and The National Portrait Gallery was a bonus for us. Because we were near the Theatre area we managed to walk to most of the places we wanted to see. Likewise being close to the tube and buses was a great advantage, particularly as we are both OAPs

    Kensington Gardens.

Kensington Gardens. Kudos to the gardeners for keeping them in tip top shape. The National Gallery, Victoria and Albert Museum and Natural History Museum one never tires of. Walks along the embankment and a river cruise along the Thames to Greenwich which will take up the better part of a day. A visitor to London should not neglect a visit to Harrods Food Hall. A feast for the eyes.

London is a fantastic place to experience different cultures and see the arts! We went to see The Lion King Musical and it was so good we looked up to come back and see it again! There are so many markets with amazing food with lots of options in them! Everywhere we walked there was some part of history around us. I always plan and map out where I want to go or what to see before I go anywhere and with London having so much we prioritised our favourites as we were only there for a short stay. I highly recommend The Park Plaza at Waterloo Hotel to stay. Definitely see a musical and enjoy the atmosphere around you.

The hotel has obviously recently been refurbished, was very clean. Fridge in the room with milk and juice and choice of cereals for breakfast which you prepared yourself. When checked in, the person showed me up to my room on the 2nd floor and carried up my bag. Imagine that with Premier Inn or Travelodge. There were 4 parking spaces in front of the hotel so pot luck for a space and parking about 300 mts away for only £7.20 per day in, Westerfield Rd, London N15 5LD. Bar down stairs with Mexican food available

Took two appointments for my daughter’s wedding for the family to be together. The service we received was great. We had the apartment above our grandchildren so they made frequent visits using the lift which only added to what was in every way an exceptional stay. The location was amazing as was the furnishings in both apartments. We will use this for future stays in London as it has a hotel feel with the convenience of a flat.

I rated this hotel highly because my expectations were quite low given the budget price. As a regular gig-goer I am used to staying in cheaper more dated hotels, some of which have been awful. as far as value for money this is a great stop over. Has all the essential facilities and the rooms were pristine, staff were so friendly. We didn't get to try the restaurant, it seems about right for london price wise though.
